Your formula. Our lab. No black box.
We develop the formula, the prototype and the data that supports it — then manufacture the same specification at scale. You own the formula; we do not reuse it for another brand.
- 5–10
- Working days for a bench sample
- In-house
- Formulation & QC team
- 100%
- Client-owned custom formulas
From brief to a formula you can defend.
- 01
Brief & feasibility
Target consumer, claims, dosage, market, cost and packaging reviewed together. We flag regulatory or technical conflicts before any bench work.
- 02
Bench prototype
The formulation team builds the first physical sample, adjusting actives, excipients, flavour, colour and texture against your reference.
- 03
Analytical check
Assay, uniformity, moisture, water activity and microbial tests confirm the prototype is stable enough to scale.
- 04
Stability & scale-up
Accelerated and real-time studies run alongside a pilot batch on production equipment, not just a lab mixer.
- 05
Lock & transfer
The master formula, specification, batch record and label claims are frozen and handed to production with a named owner.
What we can formulate.
Dosage design
Capsules, tablets, softgels, gummies, powders, sticks, liquids, effervescents, oral films and sprays — selected for the dose, the consumer and the cost target.
Flavour & texture
Sugar-free, vegan and halal systems; masking for bitter actives; texture matched to your reference product.
Stability & shelf life
Accelerated and real-time studies designed around your market's climate zone and the shelf life you want to claim.
Claim review
We flag dosage and claim conflicts for the target market before artwork is approved. We do not provide legal advice; we tell you what will be questioned.
What supports the formula.
- Analytical methods
- HPLC, GC, UV-Vis, titration, dissolution and physical testing for actives and finished forms.
- Stability chambers
- Accelerated (40°C / 75% RH) and real-time conditions, with photo-stability where the market requires it.
- Pilot equipment
- Small-scale mixers, fillers and presses that mirror production parameters, so scale-up is a translation rather than a guess.
- Documentation
- Master formula, bill of materials, batch record, specification, COA and stability protocol for every development project.
- IP & confidentiality
- NDA before the brief is shared. Custom formulas are assigned to the client; reference formulas remain ours unless assigned in writing.
Who owns what.
For a custom development project, the formula we create for you is assigned to your brand on payment of the development fee. We do not sell the same formula to another client, and we do not display your brand as a reference without permission.
If you bring an existing formula, it stays yours. We manufacture to your specification under NDA and do not reverse-engineer it for anyone else.
Standard reference formulas — the starting points we have developed over years — remain EUPHM property. You can license them for your brand, but exclusivity requires a written agreement.
Ask for the formula ownership clause before the first sample. It is easier to agree at the start than after the artwork is printed.
R&D questions, answered plainly.
How much does formulation cost?
It depends on the format and the number of iterations. Simple ODM adaptations can be included in the project; complex multi-active or stability-heavy briefs are quoted separately. You get the number before work starts.
Can you match a competitor's taste and texture?
We can match the sensory profile lawfully, but we will not copy a protected formula. Send the reference product and we will tell you what is technically achievable.
Do you formulate vegan or sugar-free versions?
Yes. Pectin gummies, HPMC capsules, plant-based softgels and sugar-free syrup systems are all available. Texture and stability are the trade-offs we test first.
Who signs the stability protocol?
Our QA team owns the protocol and the results. If your market requires a third-party laboratory, we can arrange testing through an accredited lab and include the report in the batch file.
