Production Capacity and Dosage Forms

Line capacity is matched to realistic order sizes. For orders below 10,000 units, we schedule smaller runs to keep unit costs sensible. For orders above 100,000 units, we allocate dedicated shifts and pre-order raw materials. Typical changeover between SKUs takes 4–8 hours, including full cleaning and line clearance. We share a production calendar with confirmed start and end dates before you pay a deposit. That calendar is based on current raw material lead times, not best-case estimates.

Formulation and Ingredient Sourcing

We produce vegan, vegetarian, halal and organic-certified batches. For organic claims, we use certified ingredients and maintain separate handling records. Allergen control covers gluten, soy, dairy, nuts and shellfish. We can formulate free-from versions where the active allows. Flavour and sweetener systems for gummies and powders are developed in-house, with 2–3 rounds of samples included in the pilot fee. Stability testing runs for 6–12 months depending on the dosage form and packaging.

Quality Systems and Export Logistics

We pack in bottles, jars, pouches or sachets. Standard bottle sizes are 60, 90, 120, 150 and 180 count. Labels can be printed locally or supplied by you. Cartons are export-ready with palletisation and moisture barriers. Shipping terms are FOB Shenzhen or Yantian, with air freight for urgent orders. Typical sea freight to Los Angeles is 18–24 days, to Rotterdam 28–35 days, to Jebel Ali 22–28 days. We provide commercial invoices, packing lists and certificates of origin with every shipment.

Quality Control and Batch Documentation

Every bulk supplement batch is sampled at three points: incoming raw materials, in-process blend or encapsulation, and finished goods. Identity testing uses FTIR or HPLC against a reference standard. Potency assays quantify active markers, typically with HPLC or titration, and results must fall within 95–105% of label claim. Microbial testing covers total aerobic count, yeast and mould, E. coli, Salmonella and Staphylococcus aureus. Heavy metals (lead, arsenic, cadmium, mercury) are screened by ICP-MS. Disintegration testing follows USP <701> for tablets and capsules, with typical limits of 30 minutes in purified water at 37°C.

Certificates of Analysis (COA) are issued per batch and include the product name, batch number, manufacturing date, expiry date, tests performed, specification limits, results and a pass/fail statement. The COA also references the pharmacopoeial or in-house method used. Where a customer requires it, we include a statement of allergen status and a declaration that the product is free from specified contaminants. COAs are provided in PDF before shipment and can be attached to each carton or uploaded to your supplier portal.

Retention samples of every batch are stored for the shelf life plus 12 months under controlled conditions (25°C/60% RH or 30°C/65% RH, depending on the market). Stability protocols follow ICH Q1A(R2) guidelines, with testing at 0, 3, 6, 9, 12, 18 and 24 months for long-term studies and 0, 3 and 6 months for accelerated conditions at 40°C/75% RH. We can run customer-specific stability programmes if your market requires tropical zone data. Microbiological and potency results from stability testing are added to the batch file and made available on request.

For bulk supplement supply, documentation is part of the deliverable. Each shipment includes a batch record summary, a packing list and a certificate of conformity. If you are auditing suppliers, we can provide a quality manual, a site master file and a list of validated test methods. We do not release a batch until all release tests are complete and the quality unit has signed off. Any out-of-specification result triggers an investigation and a deviation report before disposition.

Packaging, Labelling and Retail Readiness

Bulk supplement supply can be delivered as unlabelled bulk material or as retail-ready finished goods. For retail bottling, we offer HDPE bottles from 60 cc to 500 cc, PET jars for powders, blister packs (PVC/PVDC or alu-alu), stick packs and sachets from 5 g to 30 g. Capsule counts range from 30 to 240 per bottle. We can apply induction seals, shrink bands and child-resistant closures where required. Bottle and closure colours are selected from stock ranges, and custom tooling is available for larger volumes.

Labels must include the statement of identity, net quantity of contents, supplement facts panel, ingredient list, allergen declaration, directions for use, and the name and place of business of the distributor. For the US market, the supplement facts panel follows 21 CFR 101.36, with nutrients declared in descending order and a percent daily value column where applicable. We also print lot number and expiry date using inkjet or laser coding, with formats such as YYYY/MM/DD. Expiry dating is based on stability data and typically set at 24 months from manufacture for encapsulated products.

Cartons are specified by board grade, print method and pallet configuration. A standard export carton holds 12 to 48 bottles, depending on size, and is labelled with product name, lot number, quantity, gross weight and dimensions. Palletisation is either 1200 x 1000 mm or 1200 x 800 mm, with a maximum height of 1.8 m including the pallet. Shrink wrap and corner boards protect the load. We can print Amazon FNSKU labels and apply them to each unit, and we can pack to Amazon's prep requirements, including poly bagging and suffocation warning labels.

For retail compliance, we can supply product images, label artwork files and barcode verification reports. GS1 barcodes are verified to ensure they scan at retail POS. If you sell on Amazon, we can apply FNSKU labels and pack in Amazon-compliant cartons with the correct box dimensions and weight limits. We do not provide regulatory review for every market, but we can confirm that labels meet the destination country's basic labelling requirements based on the information you provide. Final label approval rests with your regulatory team.

MOQ, Lead Times and Delivery

Sampling starts with a formulation brief and a target dosage form. We provide a quotation within 2 working days and a sample timeline of 7–10 working days for standard formulas. Custom formulations or new flavour systems may take 15–20 working days. Samples are sent by courier, with freight collect or prepaid depending on the agreement. You will receive a sample with a provisional specification and a COA for the sample batch. Sample fees are typically credited against the first production order.

Mass production begins after you approve the sample, the artwork and the proforma invoice. The production window is 20–35 working days after approval, depending on the dosage form and packaging complexity. Gummies and softgels tend to sit at the longer end due to drying and curing times. We provide a production schedule at order confirmation and weekly updates. If you need to expedite, we can discuss splitting the order into two shipments, with the first shipment prioritised.

Delivery terms are EXW, FOB or DDP. For FOB, we ship from Shenzhen or Hong Kong ports. Air freight is used for urgent or smaller orders, with transit times of 3–7 days to major hubs. Sea freight is used for larger orders, with transit times of 20–35 days to Europe and 15–25 days to the US west coast. DDP is available for select markets and includes customs clearance and duties. We provide a commercial invoice, packing list, bill of lading or airway bill, COA, MSDS and, where applicable, a free-sale certificate and phytosanitary certificate for botanical ingredients.

Payment terms are typically 30% deposit and 70% before shipment, or a letter of credit for larger orders. We accept bank transfer and can work with your freight forwarder. For repeat orders, we hold master batch records and packaging specifications to reduce lead times. If you are planning a retail launch, we recommend booking production capacity 8–10 weeks before your in-store date to allow for shipping and customs clearance.

Questions buyers ask.

What is the MOQ for bulk supplement orders?+

For retail bottling, MOQ is 1,000 units per SKU. Pilot runs start from 500 units, depending on the formula and packaging. Bulk powder or unlabelled capsules can be lower. We confirm the exact MOQ in your quote after reviewing fill weight, dosage form and label complexity.

How long does sampling and production take?+

Samples ship in 7–10 working days after formula approval. Mass production takes 20–35 working days after you approve the sample and pay the deposit. Total timeline from brief to shipment is typically 6–9 weeks. Delays caused by raw material shortages are communicated within 48 hours.

Which certifications do you hold?+

The facility is GMP-certified and holds ISO 22000 and HACCP. We also produce halal and certified batches when required. Certificates are available for your compliance files. We are an FDA-registered facility, which supports US import clearance. We do not claim FDA approval for any product.

Can you match my existing formula?+

Yes. Send your current supplement facts panel, ingredient list and target fill weight. We review the formula for manufacturability, suggest adjustments if needed, and produce a sample that matches taste, colour and disintegration. Reverse engineering is handled under a mutual NDA at no extra cost for standard dosage forms.

What are the payment and shipping terms?+

Payment is 30–50% deposit with the balance due before shipment. Shipping is FOB Shenzhen or Yantian. Sea freight to Los Angeles takes 18–24 days, Rotterdam 28–35 days, Jebel Ali 22–28 days. Air freight is available for urgent orders. We provide commercial invoices, packing lists and certificates of origin.

Can you provide a free-sale certificate and other export documents?+

Yes. For each shipment we can provide a free-sale certificate issued by a local authority, a certificate of origin, a COA, an MSDS and a phytosanitary certificate where botanical ingredients are used. We also provide a packing list and commercial invoice. Some documents require advance notice, so please include your requirements in the order confirmation. We do not provide legal or regulatory advice for your market; final responsibility for import compliance rests with you.

How do you handle label artwork and barcode verification?+

We accept print-ready artwork in AI, PDF or EPS format at 300 dpi. Our prepress team checks bleed, colour mode and font embedding. We verify GS1 barcodes with a scanner to confirm they meet retail scanning standards. If you need Amazon FNSKU labels, we can print and apply them. We do not design labels from scratch, but we can recommend freelance designers. Label approval is required before production, and we keep a signed proof on file.

What is your policy on out-of-specification batches?+

If a batch fails a release test, we open a deviation report and investigate root cause. We will not release the batch until it is re-tested or reworked to meet specification. If rework is not possible, we will replace the batch at our cost or issue a credit. We share the investigation summary with you. Retention samples from the failed batch are kept for reference. We do not ship out-of-spec material under any circumstances.
