Contract Supplement Manufacturer for Growing Brands

Overview

Brand owners and procurement teams use a contract supplement manufacturer to turn a validated formula into retail-ready stock without owning a plant. EUPHM handles sourcing, blending, encapsulation or tableting, filling, labelling and packing under one roof. The facility holds GMP, ISO 22000 and HACCP certifications, with halal and vegan options available where the formula requires them. Pilot runs are supported below standard MOQ to help you test the market before scaling.

Production Capability and Line Capacity

The plant runs separate lines for capsules, tablets, powders and gummies. Capsule filling handles 150–1,200 mg fill weights, with output up to 120,000 capsules per shift. Tablet compression covers 200–1,500 mg, including bi-layer and coated formats. Powder lines fill 5–30 g sachets, tubs and stick packs. Gummy production uses pectin or gelatin bases with 2–5 g per piece. Changeover between SKUs is scheduled to keep small and mid-size runs economical.

Every project starts with a formula review to confirm the dosage form, fill weight and packaging fit your target market. If a formula needs a new die or tooling, we quote the one-time cost and lead time before you commit. Bulk blending capacity is 500–2,000 kg per batch, which supports both pilot volumes and repeat orders. Line capacity is reserved after deposit, so production slots are confirmed rather than estimated.

Formulation, Ingredients and Customisation

You can supply a finished formula or work with our team to adjust an existing one. Ingredient sourcing covers standard vitamins, minerals, botanicals, amino acids, probiotics and specialty blends. Certificates of analysis are provided for each raw material lot, and allergen statements are documented before production. Where a market requires organic or non-GMO claims, we source certified inputs and keep the supporting paperwork with the batch record.

Customisation extends to capsule colour, tablet shape, flavour systems and sweetener profiles. For gummies, we can match texture and taste across pectin and gelatin bases. Packaging options include bottles, jars, sachets, stick packs and blister packs, with label placement checked against your artwork. If you need a stability study or shelf-life confirmation, we can run it alongside production so the timeline stays practical.

Quality, Compliance and Logistics

The facility is GMP-certified and audited to ISO 22000 and HACCP. Incoming materials are quarantined until tested, and in-process checks run at blending, filling and packing. Finished goods are released only after microbiological and chemical testing against the agreed specification. We never claim FDA approval; the plant is an FDA-registered facility, which supports US market entry alongside the EU and Middle East requirements we handle regularly.

Shipping is arranged from Guangdong to your nominated warehouse or 3PL. We prepare commercial invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin and health certificates as needed. Air freight typically moves in 5–10 days; sea freight takes 18–35 days depending on destination. Documentation is shared before dispatch so customs clearance is not delayed by missing paperwork.

Quality Control and Batch Documentation

Batch documentation is compiled into a batch record that includes the master formula, raw material lot traceability, in-process checks, yield reconciliation, line clearance records and deviation reports. This file is retained for at least five years and is available for customer audit. For markets requiring a certificate of free sale or a health certificate, we prepare the supporting documentation from the batch record and the facility registrations. Customers receive a complete document pack with each shipment, including the COA, the batch record summary and the stability data available at the time of release.

Packaging, Labelling and Retail Readiness

Cartons are specified to meet the retailer's requirements, with standard E-flute or B-flute corrugated board and a minimum compression strength of 4 kN. Pallet configurations are agreed per order, with standard 1,200 mm by 1,000 mm or 1,200 mm by 800 mm pallets, stretch-wrapped and corner-protected. For Amazon sellers, we can apply FNSKU labels, poly-bag the units where required and prepare cartons to Amazon's box and weight limits, typically under 23 kg per carton. We do not apply retail-specific security tags unless the customer supplies them. All packaging components are checked against the approved specification on receipt and again at line clearance.

MOQ, Lead Times and Delivery

The document pack provided with each order includes the certificate of analysis, material safety data sheet where applicable, certificate of free sale for markets that require it, and phytosanitary certificates for botanical raw materials where the destination country requires them. We also provide a certificate of origin and, on request, a halal certificate from the relevant certifying body. Customers are responsible for import permits and product notifications in their own market. We can supply the technical file and label artwork to support those submissions.

Questions buyers ask.

What is the minimum order quantity for contract supplement manufacturing?+

For retail bottling, MOQ is 1,000 units per SKU. Pilot runs are supported at lower volumes so you can test the market before committing to a full order. Exact MOQ depends on the dosage form, fill weight and packaging.

How long does sample and production take?+

Samples are ready in 7–10 working days after formula and packaging details are confirmed. Mass production takes 20–35 working days after sample approval. Shipping time is additional: 5–10 days by air, 18–35 days by sea from Guangdong.

Can you produce organic, halal supplements?+

Yes. We hold halal and vegan capabilities alongside GMP, ISO 22000 and HACCP. Certified inputs are sourced and documented, and the supporting paperwork is kept with the batch record for your market.

Do you help with formulation and ingredient sourcing?+

Yes. You can supply a finished formula or work with our team to adjust one. We source vitamins, minerals, botanicals, amino acids, probiotics and specialty blends, and provide certificates of analysis for each raw material lot before production.

What packaging and labelling options are available?+

Bottles, jars, sachets, stick packs and blister packs are available. We check label placement against your artwork and can include batch codes, expiry dates and market-specific claims. Packaging is confirmed during sampling so there are no surprises at dispatch.

Can you provide a certificate of analysis for each batch, and what does it include?+

Yes. Each batch is released with a certificate of analysis that lists the product name, lot number, manufacture and expiry dates, tests performed, specifications, results and pass or fail status. It also names the testing laboratory and the release signature. Where required, we can include third-party test reports from an ISO 17025 laboratory. The COA is issued with the shipment and retained with the batch record for at least five years.

Do you offer stability testing, and what is the protocol?+

Yes. Stability studies follow ICH Q1A(R2) guidance. Accelerated testing runs at 40°C and 75% relative humidity for six months. Real-time testing runs at 25°C and 60% relative humidity for the proposed shelf life. We test appearance, assay, microbial limits and disintegration or dissolution where relevant. Interim reports are available at three, six and twelve months. The protocol is agreed before the study starts and can be adjusted for specific markets.

What Incoterms do you support, and which documents are provided for export?+

We support EXW, FOB and DDP. FOB is typically from Shenzhen or Hong Kong. DDP is available for most major markets, with the customer providing the import registration number. The document pack includes the certificate of analysis, material safety data sheet where applicable, certificate of free sale, certificate of origin and phytosanitary certificates for botanical raw materials where required. Halal certificates are available on request from the relevant certifying body.

What is the shelf life you assign, and who sets the expiry date?+

Shelf life is assigned from the stability protocol for the specific formula and pack, not from a generic default. Most capsule and tablet products are assigned 24 months, powders 18 to 24 months, and gummies 18 months. The expiry date is set by the factory quality team based on real-time and accelerated data, and printed at packing. If a customer requests a shorter or longer date than the data supports, the request is declined and the supporting stability summary is shared.

Can you match an existing product's formula and label from a competitor sample?+

A competitor sample can be used as a benchmark for sensory and physical properties, but the formula is developed independently and tested against the customer's specification. Reverse engineering to match a proprietary blend exactly is not offered. The usual route is a bench sample in 7 to 10 working days, followed by a pilot batch for confirmation. The customer is responsible for confirming that the formula and claims do not infringe third-party rights in the destination market.

How do you handle a batch that fails a specification?+

A failed batch is placed on hold and a documented investigation is opened covering raw material, process parameters and test method. Options are rework, re-test by a second method, or rejection. Re-testing is only accepted where the original result is shown to be invalid, for example a laboratory error. If the batch cannot be brought within specification, it is not released and the customer is informed in writing with the investigation summary. No failed batch is shipped under a concession without written customer agreement.
