Manufacturing Capabilities and Line Capacity

EUPHM operates eight production lines covering tablets, hard capsules, softgels, powders and gummies. Our tablet presses run at 250,000 tablets per hour; capsule fillers handle 120,000 capsules per hour. Softgel lines produce 80,000 capsules per hour. Powder blending supports 500 kg batches. Gummy lines output 3,000 kg per shift. This capacity allows us to schedule pilot runs alongside full-scale production without delaying either.

We maintain separate suites for beta-glucan and probiotic products to prevent cross-contamination. Environmental monitoring runs weekly. Equipment is cleaned and verified between product changeovers. For brands scaling from 5,000 to 500,000 units per month, we allocate dedicated time slots and assign a project manager who reports weekly on batch progress, QC results and packaging status.

Formulation, Ingredients and Custom Development

Our formulation team includes 12 scientists with backgrounds in pharmacology, food science and chemistry. We develop custom blends, enteric coatings, sustained-release matrices and effervescent formats. Ingredient sourcing covers 200+ raw materials from qualified suppliers in Europe, Japan, the US and China. Each incoming lot is tested for identity, potency and heavy metals before release to production.

We can match competitor products through reverse engineering or start from a blank brief. Typical development cycles run 10-15 working days for a bench sample and 20-25 working days for a stability-tested formula. We provide full documentation: ingredient specifications, allergen statements, nutritional panels and certificate of analysis. For organic, halal claims, we source certified inputs and maintain chain-of-custody records.

Quality Assurance and Global Compliance

EUPHM is an FDA-registered facility and holds GMP, ISO 22000 and HACCP certifications. Our QC laboratory performs HPLC, GC, ICP-MS, microbiological testing and disintegration testing on site. Every batch undergoes finished-product testing before release. We retain samples for 24 months. Documentation packages include batch records, COAs and stability data.

For exports to the US, EU, UK and Middle East, we prepare compliance files covering heavy metals, pesticide residues, microbial limits and allergen controls. We work with third-party labs such as Eurofins and SGS for independent verification. Halal certificates are available for specific product lines. Organic certification is handled through USDA-accredited certifiers. We do not claim FDA approval; our facility is FDA-registered.

Quality Control and Batch Documentation

Every batch produced at our nutraceutical manufacturing facility is sampled at three points: incoming raw material, in-process blend or fill weight, and finished goods. Raw materials are tested for identity by FTIR or HPLC against a retained reference standard, and potency is confirmed before release to production. Finished tablets and capsules are tested for assay, uniformity of weight, disintegration and microbial limits. Heavy metals (lead, arsenic, cadmium, mercury) are screened on every botanical input and on finished lots destined for the EU and North America.

Microbial testing covers total aerobic count, yeast and mould, E. coli, Salmonella and Staphylococcus aureus, with results reported against the specification agreed in your quality agreement. Disintegration testing follows USP <701> for immediate-release tablets and USP <711> for dissolution where a release profile is claimed. Where a formula includes probiotics or sensitive actives, we adjust sampling to protect viability and test at release rather than at blend stage.

The certificate of analysis issued with each batch states product name, batch number, manufacture and expiry dates, quantity, and the specification limit alongside the measured result for every test. It also records the analytical method used and the signature of the QC reviewer. We retain samples from every batch for the full shelf life plus twelve months, stored under the same conditions as commercial stock so that any later query can be checked against a physical reference.

Stability follows a defined protocol: accelerated conditions at 40 degrees Celsius and 75 percent relative humidity for six months, with real-time data at 25 degrees Celsius and 60 percent relative humidity running in parallel for the declared shelf life. Testing intervals are 0, 1, 2, 3 and 6 months accelerated, and 0, 3, 6, 12, 18 and 24 months real time. Brands launching in markets that require a stability summary at registration receive the full data package, not just a pass statement.

Packaging, Labelling and Retail Readiness

Our nutraceutical manufacturing lines support high-density polyethylene bottles from 30 ml to 500 ml, induction-sealed and fitted with child-resistant or standard closures depending on market requirements. Blister packs run on aluminium-PVC or aluminium-aluminium formats for moisture-sensitive tablets. Stick packs and sachets are filled from 2 g to 30 g for powders and drink mixes, and gummies are packed in bottles or pouches with nitrogen flush where the formula requires it.

For US-bound dietary supplements we prepare label copy that carries the required Supplement Facts panel, serving size, percent daily value where applicable, other ingredients list in descending order of predominance, and the mandatory disclaimer for structure-function claims. We do not draft claims for you, but we check that the panel and the allergen statement are internally consistent with the formula before artwork is released to print. EU labels are checked against the relevant annexes for permitted nutrition claims.

Lot and expiry coding is applied by inkjet or laser at the filling stage, with the format agreed at artwork approval: lot number, best-before date and, where required, the country of origin. Cartons are specified with dimensions, gross weight and barcode placement confirmed before production, and pallets are built to a stated footprint and height so that container loading can be calculated accurately. We can print and apply Amazon FNSKU labels, poly-bag units to Amazon's preparation standard, and build retail-ready shelf cartons where the buyer's planogram requires it.

Artwork proofing runs through a two-stage check: an internal pre-press review against the approved brief, then a signed PDF proof returned by your team before plates or digital files are finalised. Any change after that point is treated as a new revision with its own approval cycle, which protects both sides from a misprinted run. Packaging components are ordered against the batch quantity plus an agreed overage, typically 3 to 5 percent, to cover line set-up and quality inspection.

MOQ, Lead Times and Delivery

Sample development starts with a formulation brief and target dosage form. We return a draft formula and indicative pricing within 3 to 5 working days, then produce a pilot batch of 500 units for sensory and stability screening. Sample lead time is 7 to 10 working days from formula sign-off, and courier transit is typically 3 to 5 working days to the US or EU. Sample cost is credited against the first production order above the standard MOQ.

Once the sample is approved and packaging components are in hand, mass production runs 20 to 35 working days depending on format and line scheduling. Tablets and capsules sit at the shorter end; gummies, stick packs and multi-component kits take longer because of drying, filling and assembly stages. We confirm a production slot in writing at order acknowledgement, and any component delay is flagged within 48 hours with a revised date rather than left to the shipping week.

Shipping is quoted on EXW, FOB Shenzhen or Hong Kong, and DDP for buyers who want a landed cost. Air freight suits pilot and launch volumes up to roughly 500 kg and moves in 5 to 8 days door to door. Sea freight is the default for full pallets, at 25 to 35 days to US west coast ports and 30 to 40 days to northern Europe, plus customs clearance. We book against your forwarder or ours, and provide the packing list and commercial invoice in the format your broker requests.

Each shipment is accompanied by the batch certificate of analysis, a material safety data sheet where the product requires one, and a free-sale certificate for markets that ask for it at import. For botanical ingredients we can arrange a phytosanitary certificate and certificate of origin. Documents are issued as PDFs with the shipment and couriered originals where a destination customs authority requires them, so the paperwork arrives before the container does.

Questions buyers ask.

What is the minimum order quantity for a nutraceutical manufacturer?+

For retail bottling, MOQ is 1,000 units per SKU. Pilot runs start at 500 units per SKU. Lower thresholds apply to stock formulas. Custom formulations may require 5,000 units due to raw material minimums. We confirm exact MOQ after reviewing your brief.

How long does sample development take?+

Sample lead time is 7-10 working days after formula approval. This includes bench sample production, basic testing and shipping via express courier. For complex formulations or novel ingredients, allow 15-20 working days. We provide up to three revisions at no extra cost.

What certifications does EUPHM hold?+

EUPHM holds GMP, ISO 22000 and HACCP certifications. We are an FDA-registered facility. halal and vegan certifications are available for specific product lines. Certificates are issued per batch and included in shipping documents.

Can you match my existing formula?+

Yes. We reverse-engineer existing products using HPLC, GC and ICP-MS to identify ingredients and ratios. Provide a sample or specification sheet. Development takes 10-15 working days for a bench match. We then adjust for taste, texture and stability as needed.

What are the payment and shipping terms?+

Payment is 30% deposit with PO, balance before shipment. We accept T/T and LC at sight. Shipping is FOB Shenzhen or Hong Kong, or CIF to your port. Air freight takes 5-10 days; sea freight 20-35 days depending on destination.

Can you produce a batch to my existing formula without changing the specification?+

Yes, provided you supply the full quantitative formula, the specification for each ingredient and the finished-product test limits. We run a trial batch to confirm that the formula behaves on our equipment, particularly for compression, flow and fill weight. If an ingredient grade differs from what you used before, we flag the substitution and its effect on assay or stability before production, not after.

How do you handle allergen and cross-contamination control?+

Lines are cleaned between products under a validated changeover procedure, with swab verification for the allergens identified in your risk assessment. Products containing milk, soy, gluten or nuts are scheduled in dedicated windows and, where volume justifies it, on dedicated equipment. The allergen statement on your label is built from the actual ingredient declarations and reviewed by QC before artwork approval.

What happens if a finished batch fails specification?+

The batch is placed on hold and quarantined, and QC issues a deviation report within 3 working days stating the failed test, the measured result and the likely root cause. We either rework the batch within the agreed specification, with your written approval, or destroy it and remanufacture at our cost where the fault is ours. You receive the deviation report either way.
