Collagen Tablet Manufacturer for Custom Formulas
EUPHM produces collagen tablets under GMP and ISO 22000. We handle 1,000 unit MOQs, 7–10 day samples and 20–35 day mass production, with halal and vegan options for US, EU, UK and Middle East brands.
Overview
Sourcing collagen tablets means matching ingredient grade, dosage form and certification to your market. EUPHM compresses collagen peptides with vitamin C, hyaluronic acid or botanicals into swallowable or chewable tablets. Our plant runs rotary tablet presses with in-line weight and hardness checks. We support retail bottling, private label and 1,000 units per SKU. Every batch ships with a certificate of analysis and full traceability.

Collagen Tablet Production Capability
Our rotary tablet presses run at 30–60 strokes per minute and hold weight variation within ±3%. For collagen, which can be hygroscopic, we control room humidity below 35% RH and use direct compression or dry granulation depending on the peptide grade. Typical tablet weights range from 500 mg to 1,200 mg. We can produce bi-layer tablets to separate collagen from vitamin C or hyaluronic acid for stability. Tooling is available in round, oval and caplet shapes with custom embossing.
We run two shifts, six days a week, with capacity up to 500,000 tablets per day. Changeover between SKUs takes 4–6 hours, including cleaning and line clearance. For pilot runs under 1,000 units, we use a smaller single-sided press. Packaging lines handle 30, 60, 90 and 120 count HDPE bottles, plus blister packs and sachets. We can also fill and label in-house, reducing handoff time and cost.
Formulation and Ingredient Options
Collagen peptides come in types I, II, III, V and X, with molecular weights from 2,000 to 5,000 Da. We source from bovine, porcine, marine and eggshell membrane. For vegan brands, we use fermented collagen alternatives or pair collagen with vitamin C and silica. Standard actives include vitamin C 40–500 mg, hyaluronic acid 50–200 mg, biotin 1,000–10,000 mcg and MSM 250–1,000 mg. We can also add botanicals such as bamboo extract or horsetail.
Excipients matter for tablet quality. We use microcrystalline cellulose, dicalcium phosphate and croscarmellose sodium for binding and disintegration. Magnesium stearate is kept below 1% to avoid soft tablets. For chewable collagen tablets, we use sorbitol, xylitol or isomalt with natural flavours. Coating options include film, enteric and sugar. We test disintegration within 30 minutes for swallowable tablets and 15 minutes for chewable.
Quality, Compliance and Logistics
Our facility is GMP-certified and holds ISO 22000 and HACCP. We are FDA-registered for dietary supplements. Certifications include halal, vegan and for applicable lines. Each batch undergoes identity, potency, heavy metals, microbial and disintegration testing. We retain samples for 24 months. Documentation includes certificate of analysis, MSDS, allergen statement and country of origin. For EU and UK clients, we provide compliance files for novel food and health claims review.
Lead times are 7–10 working days for samples and 20–35 working days for mass production after formula and packaging approval. We ship FOB Shenzhen or Yantian, with air freight options for urgent orders. MOQs are 1,000 units per SKU for retail bottling. For pilot runs, we can produce 1,000 units at a higher per-unit cost. Payment terms are 50% deposit, 50% before shipment. We accept T/T and L/C at sight.
Collagen Tablet Quality Control and Batch Documentation
Every collagen tablet batch is tested at three stages: incoming raw material, in-process compression, and finished goods. Identity of collagen peptides is confirmed by FTIR or HPLC against a reference standard, and potency (protein content, peptide molecular weight distribution) is assayed before release. Microbial limits follow USP <2021> or <2022> as applicable, with total aerobic count, yeast and mould, E. coli and Salmonella tested per batch. Heavy metals (lead, arsenic, cadmium, mercury) are screened by ICP-MS on each collagen lot, and disintegration testing is performed on six tablets per batch using USP <701> apparatus.
Certificates of analysis (COA) are issued per batch and include lot number, manufacture and expiry dates, tablet weight and hardness ranges, disintegration time, assay results, microbial counts, heavy metal limits, and a statement of conformity to the agreed specification. Where vitamin C, hyaluronic acid or botanicals are added, each active is assayed separately. We retain samples of every batch for 24 months beyond expiry in controlled conditions, and stability protocols follow ICH Q1A(R2) with accelerated (40°C/75% RH) and long-term (25°C/60% RH) time points at 0, 3, 6, 12, 18 and 24 months.
Documentation packs are prepared for each shipment and include the batch COA, a certificate of manufacture, and a declaration of allergen and GMO status. If your market requires a free-sale certificate or a phytosanitary certificate for botanical components, we arrange these through the relevant authority; lead time is typically 5 to 10 working days. All records are retained for five years and are available for audit by prior arrangement.
Collagen Tablet Packaging, Labelling and Retail Readiness
Collagen tablets can be packed in HDPE bottles (60, 90, 120, 180 or 240 count) with induction seals and child-resistant or standard caps, in blister packs (PVC/PVDC or alu-alu for moisture-sensitive formulas), in stick packs or sachets (typically 5 to 10 g fill), or in bulk bags for further processing. Bottle filling runs at up to 120 bottles per minute with in-line desiccant insertion and torque checking. We can apply shrink sleeves, tamper-evident bands and lot/expiry coding by inkjet or laser on bottle, cap and carton.
For the US market, labels can be prepared to include the FDA-required dietary supplement panel: statement of identity, net quantity of contents, supplement facts panel with serving size and percent daily value, ingredient list in descending order of predominance, and the mandatory disclaimer. We also support structure/function claims only where you provide substantiation. For EU/UK retail, we format labels to FIC requirements including allergen highlighting and nutrition declaration where applicable. Amazon FNSKU labels, poly-bagging and retail-ready carton markings can be applied on request.
Cartons are specified to your artwork with a minimum 300 gsm board, and pallets are configured to standard 1200 x 1000 mm or 1200 x 800 mm footprints. Typical pallet height is 1.6 to 1.8 m including pallet, with stretch-wrap and edge protectors. We provide a packaging specification sheet with dimensions, gross and net weights, and a barcode verification report for each SKU before mass production.
Collagen Tablet MOQ, Lead Times and Delivery Terms
Sampling for collagen tablets takes 7 to 10 working days from receipt of your formula brief and target dosage. Samples are supplied with a draft COA and a packaging mock-up where requested. Mass production runs 20 to 35 working days after written approval of the sample and artwork, depending on tablet count, packaging format and whether custom tooling is needed. 1,000 units per SKU are available to validate the formula and label before scaling.
We ship by air or sea depending on volume and urgency. Air freight typically takes 5 to 10 days door to door for 100 to 500 kg, while sea freight takes 25 to 40 days port to port for full container loads. We quote EXW, FOB Shenzhen or Hong Kong, and DDP for select destinations. For DDP, we handle customs clearance and duties where the destination country allows; lead time includes 3 to 5 working days for documentation.
Each shipment is accompanied by a commercial invoice, packing list, bill of lading or airway bill, batch COA, material safety data sheet (MSDS) for the finished tablets, and a certificate of manufacture. A free-sale certificate can be arranged for markets that require it, and a phytosanitary certificate is provided where botanical ingredients are present and the destination mandates it. All documents are issued in English and can be legalised or apostilled on request.

Questions buyers ask.
What is the MOQ for collagen tablets?+
MOQ is 1,000 units per SKU for retail bottling. For pilot runs, we can produce 1,000 units at a higher per-unit cost. MOQ depends on tablet size, packaging and whether custom tooling is required.
Can you produce vegan collagen tablets?+
Yes. We use fermented collagen alternatives or combine vitamin C, silica and amino acids to support collagen synthesis. Vegan certification is available for applicable lines. Note that true collagen is animal-derived; vegan options are alternatives, not collagen peptides.
What certifications do you hold?+
GMP, ISO 22000, HACCP, halal, vegan and. Our facility is FDA-registered for dietary supplements. Certificates are provided per batch. For EU and UK clients, we supply compliance files for novel food and health claims review.
How long does sampling and production take?+
Samples ship in 7–10 working days after formula approval. Mass production takes 20–35 working days after sample and packaging approval. Lead times depend on raw material availability and order volume. We confirm schedules in writing before deposit.
What is the shelf life of your collagen tablets?+
Typically 24 months from production date when stored below 25°C and 60% RH in original packaging. We run accelerated stability studies at 40°C/75% RH for 6 months to support shelf-life claims. Stability data is available on request.
Can you provide stability data for my collagen tablet formula before I commit to a full batch?+
Yes. We can run an accelerated stability study (40°C/75% RH for 3 months) on your specific formula during the sampling phase, typically adding 4 to 6 weeks to the sample timeline. The study covers assay, disintegration, microbial limits and appearance at 0, 1, 2 and 3 months. Full ICH long-term data at 25°C/60% RH is generated once production begins and is shared as it becomes available.
What label artwork files do you need, and do you check them for regulatory compliance?+
We require print-ready PDF or AI files at 300 dpi with bleed and dieline. Our regulatory team performs a pre-press check against the destination market’s labelling rules, flagging missing mandatory elements such as the supplement facts panel, allergen statements or net quantity. We do not provide legal sign-off, but we supply a written checklist of required elements for your QA team to approve before printing.
Can you handle Amazon FNSKU labelling and retail-ready packaging for direct-to-consumer orders?+
Yes. We apply FNSKU labels, poly-bag with suffocation warning, and retail-ready carton markings according to your Amazon or retailer specification. We can also pack to a 6-unit or 12-unit case pack and provide a packing list with carton dimensions and weights. There is a small per-unit charge for FNSKU labelling, and we require your label file and placement instructions at least 10 working days before production ends.
