Effervescent Compression Capability

Our plant operates four rotary tablet presses dedicated to effervescent formulations. Each press runs at 40-60 strokes per minute, producing 1.5g to 4.0g tablets with hardness between 50N and 120N. We control temperature below 25°C and relative humidity under 30% throughout compression. This prevents premature acid-base reactions. Tablets pass through a metal detector and weight checker before entering the packaging line. Typical batch sizes range from 50kg to 500kg of finished blend.

Packaging lines handle tube filling, foil sealing and labelling in one pass. We offer desiccant-lined tubes and moisture-barrier foil sachets. Line capacity reaches 12,000 tubes per shift for standard 20-tablet formats. Changeover between SKUs takes 4-6 hours, which keeps small runs economical. If your product needs a custom tube diameter or cap style, our tooling team can quote new moulds within 10 working days.

Formulation and Ingredient Options

Effervescent systems rely on an acid source and a carbonate base. Common choices include citric acid, malic acid or tartaric acid paired with sodium bicarbonate, potassium bicarbonate or calcium carbonate. We adjust the ratio to hit your target pH, dissolution time and taste profile. Typical dissolution time is 60-120 seconds in 200ml of water at 20°C. We can incorporate vitamins, minerals, electrolytes, amino acids, herbal extracts and sweeteners such as stevia, sucralose or monk fruit.

Flavour systems are available in powder or liquid form. We test each flavour for stability over 24 months at 25°C/60% RH and 40°C/75% RH. Actives that are sensitive to moisture, such as certain probiotics or vitamin C, require special handling. We use fluid-bed drying or direct compression with low-moisture excipients. If your formula includes a high dose of a hygroscopic ingredient, we may recommend a larger tablet weight or a coated active. All ingredients must be food-grade or pharmaceutical-grade and accompanied by a certificate of analysis.

Quality Control and Global Logistics

Every batch undergoes in-process checks for weight variation, hardness, friability, disintegration time and moisture content. Finished tablets are tested for microbial limits, heavy metals and active ingredient assay. We retain samples for 24 months. Our facility is GMP-certified and holds ISO 22000 and HACCP. For halal or vegan claims, we source certified raw materials and maintain separate production scheduling to avoid cross-contamination. Documentation includes certificate of analysis, MSDS, allergen statement and certificate of origin.

We ship from Shenzhen and Hong Kong ports. Air freight to Los Angeles takes 3-5 days; sea freight to Rotterdam takes 28-35 days. We prepare export documents for US, EU, UK and Middle East markets. Cartons are palletised and shrink-wrapped. For retail-ready packaging, we can print lot codes, expiry dates and barcodes on tubes or labels. Our logistics team provides tracking updates at each stage.

Effervescent Tablet Quality Control and Batch Documentation

Every effervescent tablet batch is tested against a written specification before release. Incoming raw materials are sampled and checked for identity by FTIR or HPLC, assay potency, microbial limits (total aerobic count, yeast and mould, E. coli and Salmonella absence), heavy metals (lead, arsenic, cadmium, mercury) and, where relevant, residual solvents. During compression, in-process checks cover tablet weight variation (target ±3%), hardness, thickness, friability (below 1%) and disintegration time in water at 20°C, typically under 5 minutes for a standard 3.5g tablet.

Finished tablets are tested for active ingredient potency, uniformity of content, pH of the dissolved solution, moisture content (Karl Fischer, target below 0.5% for effervescent formats) and microbial safety. Disintegration and dissolution testing is performed on the finished dosage form. A certificate of analysis (COA) is issued per batch and includes the batch number, manufacturing date, expiry date, test parameters, specification limits, results and the analyst's signature. COAs can be provided in English, with additional language versions on request.

Retention samples of each batch are stored at the factory for the shelf life of the product plus 12 months, under controlled temperature and humidity (25°C/60% RH and 30°C/65% RH). Stability protocols follow ICH Q1A(R2) guidelines, with testing at 0, 3, 6, 9, 12, 18 and 24 months for long-term conditions and accelerated conditions at 40°C/75% RH for 6 months. Accelerated data supports the initial shelf-life assignment, while ongoing stability studies confirm the product remains within specification through the declared expiry date.

Effervescent Tablet Packaging, Labelling and Retail Readiness

Effervescent tablets are moisture-sensitive, so packaging must provide a strong barrier. We offer polypropylene tubes with desiccant caps (10, 20 or 30 tablets), aluminium foil sachets (single or double tablet), HDPE canisters (60 to 200g) and stick packs for single-serve formats. Tubes are sealed with a tamper-evident shrink band, and sachets are nitrogen-flushed where required. Bottle and tube labels can be supplied as pressure-sensitive or shrink-sleeve, with matt or gloss finishes. We can also produce blister packs using aluminium cold-form foil for markets that prefer unit-dose formats.

Labels for the US market must include the statement of identity, net quantity of contents, ingredient list, allergen declaration, and a supplement facts panel with serving size, amounts per serving and % daily value where applicable. We can format the supplement facts panel from your formula data and provide a print-ready proof. Lot number and expiry date are inkjet-printed on the base of tubes or the crimp of sachets, with a minimum character height of 1.5mm. We also support Amazon FNSKU labelling, poly-bagging and carton marking to your retailer's requirements.

Cartons are specified to withstand export handling. A standard export carton holds 24 to 48 tubes, depending on size, with a gross weight of 12 to 18kg. Cartons are printed with product name, lot number, quantity, gross and net weight, and handling symbols. Pallets are 1.2m x 1.0m or 1.2m x 0.8m, stretch-wrapped and corner-protected, with a maximum height of 1.8m including the pallet. We can provide pallet configuration diagrams for your warehouse planning.

Effervescent Tablet MOQ, Lead Times and Delivery Terms

The minimum order quantity for effervescent tablets is 1,000 units per SKU for retail-ready packaging, though lower quantities are possible for pilot runs subject to a setup fee. Sample production takes 7 to 10 working days after formula and packaging approval, and samples are shipped by courier at your cost. Mass production runs 20 to 35 working days after sample approval, depending on packaging complexity and whether custom tooling is required. Tooling for a new tablet shape or size typically adds 10 to 15 working days.

We ship by air or sea. Air freight is suitable for urgent orders and small volumes, with transit times of 3 to 7 days to major hubs. Sea freight is more economical for full-container loads, with transit times of 20 to 35 days depending on destination port. We can arrange door-to-door delivery or work with your freight forwarder. Incoterms offered include EXW, FOB Shenzhen or Hong Kong, and DDP for select markets. For DDP shipments, we handle customs clearance and duties, and provide a landed cost estimate before booking.

Shipping documents include the commercial invoice, packing list, bill of lading or airway bill, certificate of analysis, material safety data sheet (MSDS) for the finished product, and a free-sale certificate where required by the destination country. For products containing botanicals or ingredients of plant origin, a phytosanitary certificate can be arranged if the importing country requires it. We also provide a certificate of origin for preferential tariff treatment where applicable. All documents are issued in English and can be legalised or attested upon request.
