Magnesium Tablet Manufacturer for Private Label Brands

Our rotary tablet presses run at 60,000 to 120,000 tablets per hour depending on tablet size and tooling. Magnesium blends are often hygroscopic, so we control room humidity at 35–45% RH and temperature at 20–24°C. We offer direct compression and wet granulation. For high-dose magnesium citrate, direct compression keeps the tablet small enough for a 500 mg fill. Tooling ranges from 6 mm to 13 mm round, plus caplet and oval shapes.

We handle coating in-house. Film coating improves swallowability and masks the chalky taste of magnesium oxide. Aqueous coating adds 2–3% weight. We can also produce enteric-coated tablets if your formula requires delayed release. Packaging lines fill 30, 60, 90 and 120 count HDPE bottles, plus blister packs and sachets. All primary packaging is food-grade and meets EU and US pharmacopeia requirements for supplement contact.

Magnesium oxide delivers 60% elemental magnesium by weight, which suits high-dose tablets. Magnesium citrate offers 16% elemental and better absorption but needs a larger tablet or a blend with oxide. Magnesium glycinate is popular for sleep and muscle products; it is less compressible, so we add microcrystalline cellulose and silicon dioxide as flow agents. Magnesium malate and taurate are also available. We help you match elemental magnesium per serving to your label claim.

Our formulation team reviews your target dose, tablet size and excipient list. We test compressibility, disintegration and friability before quoting. Standard excipients include MCC, croscarmellose sodium, magnesium stearate and silica. We can produce vegan tablets using plant-based magnesium stearate. For organic certification, all ingredients must meet or EU organic rules. We provide full ingredient traceability from approved suppliers.

Every batch is tested for identity, potency, disintegration and microbial limits. We follow GMP, ISO 22000 and HACCP. Our facility is FDA-registered for dietary supplements. Certificates of analysis are issued per batch. Heavy metals testing covers lead, cadmium, mercury and arsenic to USP <2232> limits. We retain samples for 12 months after the expiry date. Stability studies follow ICH Q1A conditions: 25°C/60% RH and 40°C/75% RH.

For halal certification, we source magnesium stearate from certified suppliers and run dedicated production slots. Organic certification requires a separate ingredient lot and cleaning validation. Documentation includes batch records, MSDS, allergen statements and country-of-origin declarations. We ship FOB Shenzhen or Yantian. Air freight samples arrive in 3–5 days to the US and EU. Sea freight for full orders takes 18–30 days depending on destination.

Magnesium tablets can be packed in HDPE bottles from 60 cc to 500 cc with induction seals and child-resistant or standard caps, in PVC/PVDC or alu-alu blisters, in stick packs of 10 to 20 tablets, or in single-dose sachets. Bottle lines run at up to 150 bottles per minute; blister lines at up to 300 blisters per minute. Desiccant canisters or silica gel sachets are added where the formulation is moisture-sensitive. We hold a library of stock bottle moulds, or buyers can supply custom moulds with a 15–20 day tooling lead time.

Labels are produced to the buyer's artwork and checked against the US FDA dietary supplement labelling requirements: statement of identity, net quantity, supplement facts panel with magnesium content per serving and % Daily Value, other ingredients, directions, warnings, and the manufacturer or distributor address. EU labels follow Regulation (EU) No 1169/2011 with nutrition declaration and appropriate health claims. Lot number and expiry date are inkjet-printed on the bottle, label and carton, with a minimum 12 mm character height on the primary pack. We retain a label proof signed by the buyer before the first run.

Cartons are specified to buyer requirement, typically 12, 24 or 48 bottles per shipper, with gross weight and dimensions confirmed on a packing list. Pallets are built to 1,200 x 1,000 mm or 1,200 x 800 mm, stretch-wrapped and corner-boarded, with a maximum height of 1,800 mm including pallet. Amazon sellers can request FNSKU labels applied over the barcode, poly-bagged units and a packing list per carton. Retail compliance checks cover barcode scannability, country-of-origin marking and, for the EU, the responsible person address.

Packaging components are released against incoming inspection: bottle wall thickness, cap torque, seal integrity and print legibility. Line clearance is documented before each batch, and reconciliation of labels and cartons is completed at batch end. We do not print claims that are not supported by the formula or by the buyer's regulatory dossier.

Sampling starts with a formulation brief and target dose. We issue a sample plan within two working days, produce the sample batch within 7–10 working days, and ship by courier with a preliminary COA. Sample cost is credited against the first commercial order above 10,000 units. Commercial MOQ is 1,000 units per SKU subject to a line-time surcharge. Artwork approval and label proof add 3–5 working days before production scheduling.

Mass production runs 20–35 working days after sample approval and receipt of deposit, depending on tablet count, coating and packaging format. Bottle orders typically sit at the lower end; blister and stick-pack orders at the upper end. We confirm a production slot in writing. Air freight from Guangdong to the US or EU takes 5–8 days door-to-door; sea freight takes 25–35 days to US West Coast, 30–40 days to EU ports and 18–25 days to Middle East ports. We ship EXW, FOB Shenzhen or Hong Kong, and DDP where the buyer has an importer of record arrangement.

Documentation provided with each shipment includes the commercial invoice, packing list, Certificate of Analysis per batch, Material Safety Data Sheet, and a free-sale certificate where required by the destination market. For organic-certified magnesium tablets, an organic certificate and transaction certificate are issued under the applicable scheme. Phytosanitary certificates are not normally required for mineral tablets but can be arranged if the destination authority requests one. Halal certificates are provided for certified runs.

We book freight against the buyer's forwarder or our nominated forwarder, with tracking shared at booking and at departure. For DDP shipments, import duty and VAT are quoted separately and confirmed before dispatch. Buyers receive a pre-shipment photo report showing finished cartons, lot coding and pallet build.
