Menopause Tablet Manufacturer for Your Brand
EUPHM is a GMP-certified menopause tablet manufacturer in Guangdong, China. We produce coated tablets, bilayer tablets and effervescent formats at 1,000 unit MOQs, with 7-10 day samples.
Overview
Sourcing a menopause supplement means matching actives to a dosage form that suits your market. Black cohosh, red clover, soy isoflavones, calcium and vitamin D3 behave differently in a tablet press. We run rotary presses with force feeders and coaters to keep fill weight within ±3%. Pilot runs start at 1,000 units for stability testing. Full production runs 20-35 working days after artwork approval.

Tablet Production Capacity and Equipment
Our tablet suite runs three rotary presses with a combined output of 1.2 million tablets per shift. For menopause products, we use force feeders to handle low-bulk-density botanicals such as black cohosh extract and red clover. A 48-inch coating pan applies aqueous film coats at 2-3% weight gain, which masks the taste of soy isoflavones and improves swallowability for a 50+ demographic.
Bilayer capability lets you separate incompatible actives in one tablet. A common build pairs a calcium carbonate layer with a vitamin D3 and K2 layer. We run hardness tests at 8-12 kp and friability below 0.8%. Tooling changes take 4-6 hours. That keeps changeover cost low for brands running several SKUs on one line.
Actives and Formulation Approaches
Menopause formulas typically combine botanical extracts with minerals and vitamins. Standardised extracts include black cohosh at 2.5% triterpene glycosides, red clover at 8% isoflavones, and soy isoflavones at 40%. We also work with dong quai, evening primrose oil, sage and rhubarb extract. For bone support, calcium citrate or carbonate runs at 500-600 mg elemental calcium per tablet. Vitamin D3 at 400-1,000 IU and vitamin K2 as MK-7 at 45-90 mcg are common additions.
Dosage form follows the actives. Effervescent tablets suit higher-dose calcium and magnesium, dissolving in 150-200 ml water. Chewables work for vitamin D and B12. Sustained-release matrix tablets release black cohosh over 6-8 hours. We hold a library of 30+ menopause base formulas. Custom development takes 10-15 working days for a bench sample.
Quality Control and Regulatory Documentation
Every batch of menopause tablets is tested for identity, potency, uniformity of dosage units and microbial limits. We follow USP <2021> and <2022> methods where applicable. Disintegration testing runs at 37°C in purified water; coated tablets must disintegrate within 30 minutes. Heavy metals and pesticide residues are screened on all botanical inputs. Certificates of analysis are issued per batch.
For US and EU buyers, we provide a drug master file-style technical package: flow charts, bill of materials, allergen statements and stability data. We are an FDA-registered facility and hold GMP, ISO 22000 and HACCP certifications. Halal certificates are available for specific lines. Organic and handling is possible for certified organic inputs. Labels can carry vegan and non-GMO claims where the formula qualifies.
Quality Control and Batch Documentation
Every menopause tablet batch is sampled at three points: incoming raw materials, in-process compression, and finished goods. Identity testing uses FTIR or HPLC against reference standards for black cohosh, red clover, soy isoflavones, calcium and vitamin D3. Potency assays confirm label claim within 95-105% for vitamins and 90-110% for botanical extracts. Microbial limits follow USP <61> and <62> with total aerobic count below 1,000 cfu/g. Heavy metals are screened by ICP-MS against EU and US pharmacopoeial limits. Disintegration testing runs on six tablets per batch at 37°C in purified water.
In-process checks occur every 30 minutes during compression: fill weight, hardness, thickness and friability. Fill weight is held within ±3% of target, hardness between 4-8 kp for coated tablets, and friability below 1% after 100 drops. Coating pans are monitored for weight gain and appearance. Any batch outside specification is quarantined and investigated under a documented non-conformance procedure before release.
A Certificate of Analysis (COA) accompanies each batch and lists batch number, manufacture and expiry dates, active ingredient assay results, microbial counts, heavy metals, disintegration time, and a statement of conformity to the agreed specification. Retention samples of every batch are stored for two years beyond expiry at controlled temperature and humidity. Stability protocols follow ICH Q1A(R2): 25°C/60% RH for long-term and 40°C/75% RH for accelerated, tested at 0, 3, 6, 9, 12, 18 and 24 months for potency, microbials and dissolution.
Documentation is issued in English as standard, with Chinese or bilingual versions on request. Batch records, deviation reports and analytical worksheets are retained for five years and are available for audit by your nominated third party. We do not release product without a signed COA and a completed batch record review.
Packaging, Labelling and Retail Readiness
Menopause tablets can be packed in HDPE bottles (30, 60, 90, 120 or 180 count) with induction seals and child-resistant closures, or in blister packs (PVC/PVDC or alu-alu) for moisture-sensitive formulations. Stick packs and sachets are available for effervescent or chewable formats. Bottle diameters and heights are matched to your label dimensions to avoid wrap distortion. Cartons are printed on 350-400 gsm board with matt or gloss lamination, and pallets are configured to 1,200 x 1,000 mm or 1,200 x 800 mm with stretch wrap and edge protectors.
For US retail, labels must carry the Supplement Facts panel with serving size, amount per serving and % Daily Value, the statement of identity, net quantity, ingredient list, allergen declarations, and the manufacturer or distributor address. We print lot number and expiry date by inkjet or laser at the filling line, with format agreed before production. For Amazon, we can apply FNSKU labels and poly-bag units to your specification; we do not manage your seller account or FBA shipment creation.
Artwork approval is a formal step: we supply a dieline and a PDF proof, and production does not begin until you return a signed approval. Label copy is your responsibility for regulatory compliance in your market; we check for legibility, barcode scannability (EAN-13 or UPC-A) and correct lot/expiry placement. Carton marking includes batch number, quantity, gross weight and country of origin. We can hold packaging components in stock for repeat orders to shorten lead times.
MOQ, Lead Times and Delivery
Pilot runs start at 1,000 units per SKU and are intended for stability testing and market samples; samples are typically ready in 7-10 working days after formula and packaging confirmation. Commercial MOQ is 1,000 units per SKU for retail bottling, depending on tablet size and packaging format. Mass production runs 20-35 working days after artwork approval, with the clock starting when the signed proof and deposit are received. Repeat orders with retained packaging components can shorten this window.
We ship by air or sea depending on volume and urgency. Air freight from Guangdong to Europe or North America typically takes 5-8 days door to door; sea freight takes 25-40 days port to port. Incoterms offered are EXW, FOB (Shenzhen or Hong Kong), and DDP for select destinations. DDP includes customs clearance and duties but requires a confirmed HS code and importer of record details before booking.
Each shipment includes a COA, material safety data sheet (MSDS) where applicable, free-sale certificate, and phytosanitary certificate for botanical ingredients where the destination requires it. Commercial invoice, packing list and bill of lading or airway bill are issued in the shipper's name. We do not provide certificates of origin unless requested at quotation stage. Shipping documents are sent by email within 2 working days of dispatch.

Questions buyers ask.
What is the MOQ for menopause tablets?+
MOQ is 1,000 units per SKU for retail bottling. Pilot runs start at 1,000 units for stability testing or consumer trials. Lower MOQs apply to stock formulas already in our library. Custom development carries a one-time formulation fee that is credited against the first production order above 5,000 units.
Can you produce tablets with black cohosh and soy isoflavones together?+
Yes. Black cohosh extract at 2.5% triterpene glycosides and soy isoflavones at 40% can run in a single monolayer or bilayer tablet. We adjust the binder system to manage flow and compression. A bench sample takes 7-10 working days. Stability testing at 40°C/75% RH runs for 3-6 months.
What certifications does your facility hold?+
We hold GMP, ISO 22000 and HACCP certifications. Halal certificates are available for specific production lines. Organic and handling is possible for certified organic inputs. We are an FDA-registered facility. Certificates are shared under NDA during supplier qualification.
How long does mass production take?+
Mass production runs 20-35 working days after artwork approval and receipt of deposit. That covers raw material release, blending, compression, coating, packaging and QC. Delays occur if botanical extracts are on allocation. We confirm lead time in the quotation and update you at each production milestone.
Do you provide stability data for EU and US markets?+
Yes. We run accelerated stability at 40°C/75% RH for 6 months and real-time studies for 12-24 months. Data packages include assay, disintegration, microbial limits and appearance. Reports follow ICH Q1A(R2) format. They support shelf-life claims of 18-24 months for coated tablets in HDPE bottles.
Can you supply menopause tablets in blister packs instead of bottles?+
Yes. We run PVC/PVDC and alu-alu blister lines for moisture-sensitive formulations. Blister tooling is specific to tablet size and cavity count, so a new tool may be required; lead time for tooling is typically 10-15 working days. Minimum order for blister packing is 5,000 units per SKU. We can supply cartons and patient information leaflets to your artwork.
What is your policy on stability testing for a new menopause tablet formula?+
We run accelerated stability at 40°C/75% RH for 6 months and long-term at 25°C/60% RH for up to 24 months, testing potency, microbials, disintegration and appearance at defined intervals. Pilot batches of 1,000 units are sufficient for initial stability. Full stability data is provided with the COA for each batch. We do not assign expiry dates beyond the supported stability period.
Do you offer DDP shipping and what documents are needed?+
DDP is available for select destinations. You need to provide the HS code, importer of record, and delivery address before booking. DDP covers freight, customs clearance and duties, but not VAT or local taxes unless agreed. We issue commercial invoice, packing list, COA, MSDS and free-sale certificate. Phytosanitary certificates are provided for botanical ingredients where required by the destination country.
