Production capacity and MOQs

Our Guangdong facility runs dedicated gummy lines with a daily output of 500,000 units. For GABA gummies, we recommend a starting MOQ of 1,000 units per SKU for retail bottling. Pilot runs of 1,000 units are available for formula validation. Bottle sizes range from 30 to 120 count. We handle pectin and gelatin bases, with vegan options using modified starch. Standard lead time after formula approval is 20–35 working days, including QC release.

We produce in climate-controlled rooms at 20–25°C and 45–55% relative humidity to prevent sticking and moisture uptake. Each batch is tested for GABA content, microbial safety, and stability. Our lines support sugar-coated, sour-coated, and sanded finishes. We can also add complementary ingredients like L-theanine, magnesium, or melatonin, subject to local regulations. All packaging is child-resistant where required.

Formulation and ingredient sourcing

GABA is available in several grades. We use pharmaceutical-grade or food-grade GABA, typically 99% purity, from suppliers with full traceability. Dosage ranges from 50 mg to 300 mg per gummy. Because GABA is heat-sensitive, we add it at the final mixing stage after the base has cooled to below 40°C. This preserves potency. We validate each formula with accelerated stability testing at 40°C/75% RH for 3 months.

Flavour systems are customised. Common profiles include mixed berry, citrus, and tropical. We use natural or nature-identical flavours, with colours from fruit and vegetable extracts. Sweeteners can be cane sugar, tapioca syrup, or sugar-free options like allulose and stevia. For vegan gummies, we use pectin or modified corn starch. We also offer organic-certified formulas if your brand requires USDA organic or EU organic claims.

Quality, compliance, and logistics

Our facility is GMP-certified and holds ISO 22000 and HACCP. We are FDA-registered for dietary supplements. Every batch of GABA gummies is tested for identity, potency, heavy metals, and microbiological safety. We provide a certificate of analysis (COA) for each lot. We also support third-party testing through Eurofins or SGS if you need independent verification. Documentation for halal, and organic claims is available on request.

We ship worldwide from Shenzhen and Hong Kong ports. Typical transit times: 25–35 days to US West Coast, 30–40 days to EU, 15–25 days to Middle East. We handle export documentation, including health certificates and free sale certificates. For urgent orders, air freight is available at 5–10 days. Our team coordinates with your freight forwarder or arranges door-to-door delivery. Payment terms are 30% deposit, 70% before shipment.

Quality Control and Batch Documentation

Every GABA gummy batch is tested at three stages: incoming raw material, in-process gel or pectin matrix, and finished retail units. Identity and potency of GABA are confirmed by HPLC against a reference standard, with a specification of 95–105% of label claim. Microbial testing covers total aerobic count, yeast and mould, E. coli, Salmonella, and Staphylococcus aureus. Heavy metals (lead, arsenic, cadmium, mercury) are screened against EU and US pharmacopoeial limits. Disintegration testing follows USP <2040> for gummies, with a typical target of complete disintegration within 30 minutes in purified water at 37°C.

Certificates of Analysis (COA) are issued per batch and include batch number, production date, expiry date, GABA assay result, microbial results, heavy metals results, disintegration time, appearance, taste, and moisture content. COAs are available in English and can be formatted to your specification. Retention samples of every batch are held for 24 months from the date of manufacture in a temperature-controlled archive. Stability protocols follow ICH Q1A(R2) conditions: 25°C/60% RH for long-term and 40°C/75% RH for accelerated testing, with pull points at 0, 3, 6, 9, 12, 18, and 24 months for potency, microbials, and sensory attributes.

In-process checks occur every 30 minutes during the depositing run: weight variation within ±5%, colour and flavour uniformity, and gel strength. Metal detection is performed on 100% of finished units before bottling. Any out-of-specification result triggers a documented deviation, root-cause investigation, and batch rejection where applicable. We do not release a batch without a signed QC release sheet and a completed COA.

Packaging, Labelling and Retail Readiness

We offer retail packaging in HDPE bottles (60, 90, or 120 count), blister packs, stick packs, and single-serve sachets. Bottles can be supplied with induction seals, child-resistant caps, and desiccant sachets where required. Labelling follows FDA 21 CFR 101 for dietary supplements: statement of identity, net quantity, supplement facts panel, ingredient list, allergen declaration, and manufacturer/distributor contact. We also support EU 1169/2011 nutrition declarations and UK requirements. Lot codes and expiry dates are inkjet-printed on the bottle base and outer carton; we can also apply QR codes or serialisation if your retail channel requires it.

Carton specifications: standard export cartons are double-wall corrugated, with a typical configuration of 24 bottles per carton for 60-count and 12 bottles per carton for 120-count. Palletisation is 48 cartons per pallet (EUR) or 40 cartons per pallet (US), stretch-wrapped and corner-protected. For Amazon FNSKU labelling, we can print and apply FNSKU labels directly to each unit and poly-bag units where required. We do not handle Amazon Seller Central account setup, but we can prepare shipments to Amazon fulfilment centres with the correct labelling and packing lists.

Artwork and pre-press: we accept AI, PDF, or EPS files and provide a digital proof within 3 working days. Physical proofs can be couriered at cost. We check for legibility, barcode scannability (UPC-A or EAN-13), and regulatory statements before print. If you supply your own labels, we can apply them at an additional per-unit cost; lead time increases by 2–3 working days.

MOQ, Lead Times and Delivery

Sample timeline: after formulation confirmation and receipt of a purchase order for samples, we produce and dispatch samples within 7–10 working days. Sample quantities are typically 10–20 units per SKU. Courier costs are at the buyer's account unless otherwise agreed. Mass production begins after sample approval and receipt of a 30% deposit. The production window is 20–35 working days for standard pectin or gelatin gummies, depending on flavour complexity and packaging configuration. Peak season (August–November) may extend lead times by 5–7 working days; we recommend booking capacity at least 8 weeks in advance.

Shipping: air freight is typically 5–10 days door-to-door for 100–500 kg shipments; sea freight is 25–40 days port-to-port depending on destination. We quote EXW, FOB Shenzhen/Yantian, or DDP for most major markets. DDP includes customs clearance and duties but excludes destination taxes where applicable. For sea freight, we provide a packing list, commercial invoice, and bill of lading. For air freight, we provide an air waybill and commercial invoice.

Documents provided with each shipment: Certificate of Analysis (COA), Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) where applicable, free-sale certificate, and phytosanitary certificate for plant-derived ingredients where required by the destination country. We also provide a certificate of origin (Form A, Form E, or general CO) on request. For halal claims, we supply the relevant certification body's batch certificate. We do not provide FDA registration certificates for the buyer's own facility, but we can confirm our facility's FDA registration number on request.
