Detox Powder Manufacturer for Private Label Brands

Overview

Detox powders are a crowded category. What separates a sellable SKU from a slow mover is usually formulation discipline and consistent fill weight. As a detox powder manufacturer, we work from your formula or develop one with our in-house team. We produce 1,000 units per SKU for retail bottling, with lower MOQs for pilot runs. Sample lead time is 7-10 working days. Mass production runs 20-35 working days.

Powder Production Capability

Our powder lines handle blending, filling, capping, sealing and labelling in one facility. We run ribbon blenders and V-blenders for dry mixes, with batch sizes from 500 kg to 2,000 kg. Filling accuracy is ±2% on target fill weight. That matters for detox blends where psyllium, flax or inulin can settle unevenly. We check fill weight every 30 minutes during production and log the results.

Bottling options include HDPE jars, PET jars and stand-up pouches. We can insert scoops, desiccant sachets or stick packs. For brands selling on Amazon or into retail, we apply shrink bands, lot codes and expiry dates. If you need stick packs rather than jars, we run those on a separate line. Typical stick pack fill is 5 g to 10 g.

Detox Ingredient and Formulation Notes

Most detox powders combine fibre, botanical extracts and a carrier. Common actives include psyllium husk, acacia fibre, inulin, senna leaf extract, dandelion root, milk thistle, ginger and green tea extract. We can source these as conventional, vegan-certified inputs. For taste, we use stevia, monk fruit or a light fruit powder. Natural flavours are available for berry, citrus, ginger-lemon and tropical profiles.

Formulation decisions affect cost and label claims. A 10 g serving with 5 g of psyllium costs more than one built on maltodextrin, but it supports a fibre claim. We help you balance actives against excipients so the label reads cleanly. If you want a or vegan claim, we verify each input against the relevant standard before blending. We do not add ingredients that are not on your approved formula.

Quality, Compliance and Shipping

Every batch is tested for identity, potency, heavy metals, microbial limits and moisture. We hold GMP, ISO 22000 and HACCP certifications. Halal certification is available on request. If your market requires organic certification, we produce under USDA organic or EU organic rules. We do not claim FDA approval. Our facility is FDA-registered, which allows us to export to the US market.

We ship FOB Shenzhen or Hong Kong. Typical transit is 20-30 days to US west coast ports, 25-35 days to EU ports, and 12-20 days to Middle East ports. We provide commercial invoices, packing lists, certificates of analysis and health certificates. For first orders, we can arrange air freight for 100-200 kg pilot batches. Documentation is prepared within 3 working days of shipment.

Quality Control and Batch Documentation

Every detox powder batch is sampled at three points: incoming raw materials, in-process blending, and finished bulk powder. Identity testing by FTIR or HPLC confirms each botanical and fibre source. Potency assays quantify key actives such as psyllium husk fibre, senna sennosides, or added vitamin C. Microbial testing covers total plate count, yeast and mould, E. coli, and Salmonella. Heavy metals (lead, arsenic, cadmium, mercury) are tested against EU or US pharmacopoeial limits. Each finished batch receives a certificate of analysis (COA) listing these results, the batch number, and the specification range.

Disintegration testing applies only to tablets and capsules, so for powders we substitute bulk density, particle size distribution, and moisture content. These three parameters predict how the powder flows on your filling line and how it disperses in water. Moisture is held below 5% for most blends to prevent caking. Particle size is typically 80 to 100 mesh for drink mixes. We retain a 200 g sample from every batch for 24 months at ambient conditions, and a second sample at 40°C/75% RH for accelerated stability. Stability protocols run at 0, 3, 6, 12, and 24 months for shelf-life claims.

Batch documentation is compiled within five working days of production. The pack includes the master batch record, dispensing records, in-process check sheets, analytical results, and a signed COA. If your market requires a free-sale certificate or a GMP statement, we issue these alongside the COA. We do not release finished goods until the COA is approved by our QA manager and countersigned by the production lead. This two-signature rule applies to every detox powder SKU, regardless of order size.

Packaging, Labelling and Retail Readiness

Detox powders ship in four primary formats: wide-mouth PET or HDPE bottles (150 g to 500 g), stick packs (5 g to 10 g), sachets (3 g to 15 g), and bulk 1 kg to 5 kg foil bags for repackaging. Bottles use induction seals and pressure-sensitive liners; stick packs are formed from laminated foil with a tear notch. We can apply shrink sleeves, pressure-sensitive labels, or direct print. For Amazon sellers, we print FNSKU labels and poly-bag each unit with a suffocation warning where required. Carton specs are 12 to 24 bottles per shipper, with pallet patterns of 48 to 60 cartons per standard 1200 x 1000 mm pallet.

Labels for the US market must carry the FDA dietary-supplement statement of identity, net quantity, ingredient list, supplement facts panel, and allergen declarations. We review your artwork against 21 CFR 101 and flag missing elements before printing. For the EU, we check nutrition and health claims against Regulation 1924/2006 and require the food business operator address. Lot and expiry coding is applied by inkjet or laser on the bottle base, stick pack crimp, or carton flap. Expiry is set at 24 months from production for most powder blends, supported by the stability protocol.

Retail-ready packaging includes tamper-evident bands, child-resistant closures where required, and cartons printed with GS1 barcodes. We can supply a packaging specification sheet with dimensions, gross weight, and pallet configuration for your freight forwarder. If you sell on Amazon, we also provide flat-file images of the label and a packaging compliance declaration. We do not print claims such as 'detoxifies the liver' or 'cures bloating' because these are medicinal claims in most markets; we will suggest compliant alternatives that describe the product as a fibre blend or botanical drink mix.

MOQ, Lead Times and Delivery

Sample production takes 7 to 10 working days after formula and packaging approval. You receive three to five filled units, a draft COA, and a packaging mock-up. Mass production runs 20 to 35 working days from sample sign-off, depending on raw material lead times and whether custom tooling is needed for stick packs. We hold safety stock of common detox ingredients such as psyllium, flax, and apple pectin, which shortens the production window by about five days. Pilot runs of 500 to 1,000 units are available for market testing, with the same documentation as full batches.

We ship under EXW, FOB Shenzhen or Hong Kong, and DDP for select destinations. Air freight takes 5 to 8 days door to door and suits pilot runs or urgent replenishment; sea freight takes 25 to 35 days port to port and is cost-effective above 500 kg. For DDP, we handle customs clearance and import duties where our broker coverage allows, but you remain the importer of record for food safety purposes. We provide a commercial invoice, packing list, and bill of lading or airway bill with every shipment.

Documentation supplied with each order includes the COA, material safety data sheet (MSDS) for the finished powder, free-sale certificate, and GMP certificate. For plant-based ingredients, we can arrange a phytosanitary certificate if your destination requires one. Halal certificates are available on request, subject to ingredient sourcing. We do not issue certificates we have not earned; if a certification is not held for a specific ingredient, we will tell you before you place the order. Shipping documents are sent by email within 48 hours of vessel departure.

Questions buyers ask.

What is the MOQ for a detox powder?+

MOQ is 1,000 units per SKU for retail bottling. For pilot runs, we can go lower, often 1,000 to 2,000 units. Stick packs start at 5,000 units. Bulk powder bags have a lower MOQ because there is no retail packaging.

Can you produce an organic detox powder?+

Yes. We produce under USDA organic and EU organic rules when all inputs are certified organic. You need to provide your organic certificate or work with us to source certified inputs. Organic production runs on a separate line to avoid cross-contact with conventional ingredients.

How long does sample production take?+

Sample lead time is 7-10 working days after we receive your formula and packaging brief. If you need custom flavour development, add 5 working days. Samples are shipped by courier, typically 3-5 days to the US or EU.

Do you offer halal detox powders?+

Yes. We hold halal certifications for specific production runs. You must request halal status at quotation stage so we schedule the batch correctly. Certificates are issued per batch and included with shipping documents.

What testing do you do on finished powder?+

Each batch is tested for identity, potency, heavy metals, microbial limits and moisture. We provide a certificate of analysis with every shipment. If you need third-party testing at an external lab, we can send samples to a lab of your choice before release.

Can you produce a detox powder with a shelf life longer than 24 months?+

Yes, but it depends on the formulation. Blends with high fat or oil content, such as flax or chia, typically max out at 18 to 24 months unless we add antioxidants or use nitrogen flushing. Fibre-only blends can reach 36 months with a validated stability protocol. We run accelerated testing at 40°C/75% RH for three months to predict ambient shelf life, then confirm with real-time data. We will not print a 36-month expiry without supporting stability results.

Do you provide a certificate of analysis for every batch, and what does it include?+

Yes. Every batch receives a COA listing identity, potency, microbial results, heavy metals, moisture, bulk density, and particle size. The COA also states the batch number, production date, expiry date, and specification limits. We can add customer-specific tests such as pesticide residues or gluten-free verification for an additional fee and 5 to 7 working days. The COA is issued in PDF and signed by our QA manager.

What is the process for getting a sample before I place a bulk order?+

Send your formula or target ingredient list, preferred fill weight, and packaging format. We confirm feasibility and quote sample costs, typically USD 50 to 150 including courier. After payment, sample production takes 7 to 10 working days. You receive filled units, a draft COA, and a label mock-up. Sample costs are credited against your first mass production order above 1,000 units. We do not supply free samples for custom formulations.
