Powder Production Capacity and Formats

EUPHM operates four powder blending lines and six filling lines. Stick pack output reaches 500,000 units per day; jar filling runs 120,000 units per day. We fill 3 g to 10 g sticks, 100 g to 500 g jars and 5 g to 20 g sachets. Changeover between SKUs takes 2–4 hours. This supports launch volumes from 1,000 units up to 12 containers per month.

For pilot runs, we allocate one line and schedule 10–15 working days. Standard mass production is 20–35 working days after sample approval. Raw materials are held in a temperature-controlled warehouse. We do not outsource blending or filling. This keeps lead times predictable and traceability complete.

Electrolyte Formulation and Ingredient Options

Formulas can include sodium citrate, potassium chloride, magnesium glycinate or magnesium citrate, and calcium lactate. Dextrose or glucose supports absorption. Flavours cover citrus, berry, watermelon and unflavoured. Sweetener systems include stevia, monk fruit, sucralose or cane sugar. We adjust sodium to potassium ratios from 2:1 to 4:1 depending on use case.

Each batch is tested for sodium, potassium, magnesium, chloride and pH. We also check moisture content below 3% and particle size distribution. You can supply a formula or request development from our lab. Stability testing runs 6–12 months at 25°C/60% RH and 40°C/75% RH. Shelf life typically reaches 24 months in sealed stick packs.

Quality, Compliance and Export Logistics

Our facility is GMP, ISO 22000 and HACCP certified. Halal and vegan certificates are available per SKU. We are FDA-registered for US-bound shipments. Every batch carries a certificate of analysis and full traceability from raw material lot to finished unit. Retain samples are kept for 24 months.

Export documentation includes commercial invoice, packing list, certificate of origin and health certificate where required. We ship FOB Shenzhen or Hong Kong. Air freight samples arrive in 3–5 days; sea freight to US East Coast takes 22–28 days, to Rotterdam 18–24 days. We support private label and white label artwork.

Quality Control and Batch Documentation

Every electrolytes powder batch is tested at three stages: incoming raw materials, in-process blend, and finished goods. Identity and potency of sodium, potassium, magnesium and chloride are confirmed by ICP-OES or ion chromatography. Microbials (total plate count, yeast and mould, E. coli, Salmonella) are tested per ISO methods. Heavy metals (lead, arsenic, cadmium, mercury) are screened against EU and US limits. Moisture content and water activity are checked to protect flowability and shelf life. Disintegration is not applicable to powders, so we test dissolution time and particle size distribution instead.

A Certificate of Analysis (COA) is issued for each batch and includes batch number, manufacturing date, expiry date, test parameters, specifications, results and acceptance criteria. Retention samples of every batch are kept for 24 months at ambient conditions. Stability protocols follow ICH Q1A(R2) guidelines: 0, 3, 6, 12 and 24-month intervals at 25°C/60% RH and 40°C/75% RH. Accelerated data supports a 24-month shelf life claim, which is stated on the label. Customers receive a COA with each shipment and can request stability summaries for their formula.

In-process controls run every 30 minutes during blending: bulk density, pH (for flavoured variants) and uniformity by near-infrared or manual sampling. Metal detection and sieving (typically 40 mesh) are performed before filling. Any out-of-specification result triggers a documented deviation and re-test. We do not release a batch without a signed quality release. This level of documentation supports retailer audits and import clearance in the EU, US and Middle East.

For custom formulas, we provide a specification sheet listing all ingredients, excipients, allergens and country-of-origin declarations. This document is updated with each revision and referenced in the COA. If your market requires additional tests such as pesticide residues or gluten-free verification, these can be added to the testing protocol at quotation stage.

Packaging, Labelling and Retail Readiness

Electrolyte powder formats include stick packs (3 g to 10 g), sachets (5 g to 20 g), jars (100 g to 500 g) and bulk bags for repacking. Stick and sachet films are typically PET/AL/PE or PET/PE with a moisture barrier. Jars are HDPE or PET with induction seals and optional desiccant sachets. We can also supply blister packs for single-serve tablets, though this page focuses on powders. Secondary packaging options include retail cartons, display boxes and shrink-wrapped trays.

For the US market, we design labels to include the FDA-required dietary supplement facts panel, ingredient list, allergen statement, net quantity, and the disclaimer 'These statements have not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration'. Lot number and expiry date are inkjet-printed on primary and secondary packaging. We can add Amazon FNSKU barcodes, FBA labels and retail-compliant carton markings. For the EU, labels include the nutrition declaration, mandatory food information and a UK or EU address for the responsible person.

Cartons are typically 12 to 24 units per inner box, with pallet configurations of 48 to 72 cartons per layer and up to 1,200 kg per pallet. We provide pallet dimension and weight data for freight planning. For Amazon sellers, we can poly-bag and label units according to FBA requirements. All packaging materials are food-grade and meet EU 10/2011 and FDA 21 CFR 174-190 compliance where applicable.

MOQ, Lead Times and Delivery

Standard MOQ is 1,000 units per SKU, but pilot volumes are discussed case by case for market testing. Sampling takes 7 to 10 working days after formula confirmation and receipt of raw materials. Sample cost is credited against the first bulk order. Mass production runs 20 to 35 working days after sample approval, depending on packaging complexity and raw material lead times. For repeat orders, lead time can shorten to 15 to 25 working days.

We ship from Guangdong, China. Air freight takes 5 to 10 days to major hubs; sea freight takes 25 to 40 days depending on destination port. Incoterms offered include EXW, FOB Shenzhen/Hong Kong, CIF and DDP for selected markets. DDP is available for the US, EU and UK, with duties and taxes handled by our freight partners. We provide a commercial invoice, packing list, bill of lading and certificate of origin with every shipment.

Documents supplied include COA, MSDS (upon request), free-sale certificate, and phytosanitary certificate where applicable. For halal claims, we provide certificates from recognised certification bodies. We can also arrange third-party inspection (SGS, Bureau Veritas) at the buyer's cost. Shipping documents are issued within 3 working days of vessel departure.
