Glutathione Capsule Manufacturer for Global Supplement Brands

EUPHM operates automated capsule filling lines with a combined capacity of 1.2 million capsules per day across two shifts. For glutathione, we run size 0 and size 1 capsules, which cover fill weights from 250 mg to 750 mg of reduced L-glutathione powder. Smaller pilot batches are filled on semi-automatic lines to keep minimum order quantities at 1,000 units. Capsule shells are available in HPMC for vegan and vegetarian claims, or bovine gelatin for standard retail bottles. We can print or laser-etch batch codes directly on the capsule for traceability.

Bottle filling and labelling run in the same facility. Standard retail packaging is a 60-count or 120-count HDPE bottle with induction seal, child-resistant cap and a pressure-sensitive label. We also fill blister packs and sachets if your market prefers unit-dose formats. Line changeover between capsule sizes takes 2–4 hours, so mixed-SKU orders can be scheduled in the same production week. For brands scaling from 1,000 to 50,000 units, we hold buffer stock of empty capsules and excipients to reduce lead time on repeat orders.

Reduced L-glutathione is sensitive to moisture, heat and pH. We formulate with low-moisture excipients such as microcrystalline cellulose and magnesium stearate at 0.5–1.5% to keep the active stable through a 24-month shelf life. If your label claims a specific glutathione purity, we source from suppliers who provide a certificate of analysis showing 98% or higher assay. Common add-ons include 100–500 mg vitamin C, 50–200 mg alpha-lipoic acid, or 100–250 mg N-acetylcysteine. Each addition changes the fill weight and may require a larger capsule size.

We do not use titanium dioxide or artificial colours unless your market requires them. For clean-label positioning, the capsule can be transparent HPMC with no opacifier. Flavour masking is rarely needed for glutathione because the powder has a mild sulphur note. If you want a liposomal or enteric-coated version, we can discuss a coated capsule project, but MOQ rises to 5,000 units and sample lead time extends to 12–15 working days. Stability testing at 40°C/75% RH for 3 months is included in the sample phase.

Every glutathione batch is tested for identity, assay, heavy metals, microbial limits and disintegration time. We follow USP <711> for dissolution and USP <2021> for microbial enumeration. The facility is GMP-certified, ISO 22000 and HACCP compliant, and holds halal certificates for relevant production lines. Organic and certification is available if the glutathione raw material is certified organic. We do not claim FDA approval; the facility is FDA-registered for dietary supplement manufacturing.

Export documentation includes a certificate of analysis, certificate of origin, packing list, commercial invoice and, where needed, a health certificate. For the EU and UK, we provide a statement of compliance with EC 1924/2006 and retain samples for 2 years. For the Middle East, halal certificates are issued per batch. Shipping is arranged from Shenzhen or Hong Kong port, with air freight for samples and sea freight for mass production. Typical transit time is 18–25 days to Rotterdam, 22–30 days to Jebel Ali and 25–35 days to Los Angeles.

Every glutathione capsule batch is tested at three stages: incoming raw material, in-process fill weight checks, and finished product. Raw reduced L-glutathione is assayed for identity and potency by HPLC, with a specification of 98.0–101.0% on dried basis. Microbial testing covers total aerobic count, yeast and mould, E. coli and Salmonella. Heavy metals (lead, arsenic, cadmium, mercury) are tested against EU and US pharmacopoeial limits. Each finished batch is also tested for disintegration time, typically under 30 minutes for gelatin and under 45 minutes for HPMC capsules.

A certificate of analysis (COA) is issued per batch and includes lot number, manufacturing date, expiry date, fill weight, assay result, microbial results, heavy metals, disintegration and appearance. Retention samples of every batch are kept for 24 months after expiry in a controlled environment. Stability testing follows a 24-month protocol at 25°C/60% RH and 40°C/75% RH for accelerated conditions, with testing at 0, 3, 6, 12, 18 and 24 months. These data support shelf-life claims on your label.

Batch documentation is compiled into a batch record that includes raw material COAs, weighing records, in-process checks, finished product COA and packaging records. This file is available to buyers on request and is the basis for any future audit. If you need a specific marker compound or a different assay method for your market, this is agreed at the sample stage so the method is validated before production.

Glutathione capsules can be packed in HDPE bottles (60, 90, 120 or 180 count), blister packs, or single-serve sachets. Bottles are induction-sealed and fitted with child-resistant or standard caps depending on market requirements. For Amazon and retail, we apply FNSKU labels, poly-bag the bottle where required, and print lot number and expiry date in the format you specify (for example, LOT 12345, EXP 03/2027). Carton specifications are agreed per order: standard export cartons hold 24 to 48 bottles, with pallet dimensions of 1200 x 1000 mm or 1200 x 800 mm.

For US dietary supplement labels, we can print the Supplement Facts panel, ingredient list, allergen statement and suggested use based on the formula you approve. We do not provide regulatory advice for your market, but we check that the label file you supply includes the mandatory elements: product name, net quantity, supplement facts, other ingredients, lot and expiry, and manufacturer or distributor address. Camera-ready artwork is required before printing.

Retail-ready packaging includes tamper-evident seals, lot coding on both bottle and carton, and a packing list per carton. If you sell on Amazon, we can apply the FNSKU and ship in poly bags with a suffocation warning where the bag size requires it. We do not handle Amazon seller central accounts, but we can prepare cartons to your FBA inbound requirements, including carton weight limits and label placement.

The MOQ for glutathione capsules is 1,000 units per SKU. Samples are typically dispatched within 7–10 working days after formula and packaging confirmation. Sample costs are credited against the first mass production order. Mass production runs 20–35 working days after sample approval, depending on capsule size, packaging format and whether halal certification is required for the batch.

Shipping is arranged by air or sea. Air freight to the US or EU typically takes 5–8 days door to door, while sea freight takes 25–35 days port to port. We quote EXW, FOB Shenzhen or DDP depending on your preference. For DDP, we handle customs clearance and delivery to your warehouse, but duties and taxes are included in the quote. We provide a commercial invoice, packing list, bill of lading or air waybill, COA, MSDS and a free-sale certificate for each shipment. A phytosanitary certificate is not applicable to encapsulated glutathione, but we can provide a certificate of origin on request.

For repeat orders, we keep your approved artwork and formula on file, which shortens the lead time to 15–20 working days for standard bottle formats. We recommend booking production slots four to six weeks ahead during peak season (August to November) to avoid delays.
