Iron Liquid Manufacturer for Private Label Supplements
EUPHM produces iron liquid supplements in Guangdong, China. MOQ starts at 1,000 units per SKU. Sample lead time is 7-10 working days. Mass production runs 20-35 working days.
Overview
Sourcing an iron liquid manufacturer means balancing fill accuracy, taste masking and regulatory paperwork. EUPHM runs dedicated liquid lines for ferrous bisglycinate, ferrous sulfate and carbonyl iron formats. Bottles range from 10ml to 30ml, with child-resistant or tamper-evident closures. The plant holds GMP, ISO 22000 and HACCP certifications, plus halal where required. Pilot runs are available below the standard MOQ for formula validation.

Liquid Filling and Bottling Capability
EUPHM operates four automated liquid filling lines. Each line handles 10ml to 30ml bottles at speeds of 80 to 120 bottles per minute. Fill accuracy is held to ±1.5% by weight. Nitrogen flushing is available for oxidation-sensitive iron salts. Inline checkweighers reject underfilled or overfilled units before capping.
Bottles can be amber PET, clear PET or glass. Closures include child-resistant caps, dropper tips and tamper-evident rings. Labeling supports US, EU, UK and Middle East market requirements. Cartoning and shrink-wrapping are done in-house. This keeps lead times at 20-35 working days from approved sample.
Iron Forms, Flavours and Formulation
The most common request is ferrous bisglycinate, which is gentle on the stomach and carries 20% elemental iron. Ferrous sulfate remains cost-effective at 20% elemental iron. Carbonyl iron offers 98% elemental iron for high-potency drops. We also work with ferric ammonium citrate and iron polymaltose. Dosage ranges from 5mg to 30mg elemental iron per 10ml.
Taste is the main challenge. Iron has a metallic note that needs masking. We use natural berry, orange, apple and mixed fruit flavours. Glycerin and sorbitol act as carriers. Xylitol is available for sugar-free versions. Preservatives are potassium sorbate and sodium benzoate at 0.1% each. Vitamin C at 40-80mg per serving aids absorption. All formulas are tested for pH, viscosity and microbial limits before filling.
Quality Control and Compliance Documentation
Every batch of iron liquid is tested for iron assay, pH, viscosity, heavy metals and total plate count. Lead, arsenic and cadmium are held below 0.5ppm. We provide a Certificate of Analysis per batch. Retain samples are kept for 24 months. The facility is FDA-registered for dietary supplements. It is not FDA-approved; FDA does not approve supplement facilities.
For EU and UK buyers, we supply allergen statements, nutrition declarations and health claim guidance. Halal certificates are available on request. Organic iron liquids can be produced under USDA organic or EU organic standards if the iron source is certified. Vegan and non-GMO statements are standard. Documentation is issued in English and can be translated for Middle East registration.
Packaging, Labelling and Retail Readiness
Iron liquids are filled into amber glass or PET bottles with child-resistant or tamper-evident closures. For unit-dose formats, we offer 10ml and 15ml stick packs or sachets, and for sample sizes, 5ml and 10ml bottles. Blister packaging is not typical for liquids but can be provided for specific applicators. Bottles are labelled with a wrap-around label or a shrink sleeve. We can also apply neck tags or booklet labels for multi-language requirements. Cartons are printed with lot number and expiry date by inkjet or laser coding.
For the US market, labels must include the statement of identity, net quantity of contents, nutrition facts panel (or supplement facts for dietary supplements), ingredient list, allergen declaration, and name and place of business. We also include a lot number and expiry date in a legible format. For Amazon FNSKU compliance, we apply the FNSKU barcode label over the existing barcode or print it directly on the carton. Retail-ready cartons can be designed to meet specific retailer requirements, including shelf-ready packaging with perforations and display-ready pallets.
Cartons are typically 24 or 48 bottles per shipper, with dimensions and weights provided per SKU. Pallets are standard 1200x1000mm or 1200x800mm, stretch-wrapped and labelled with SSCC if needed. We can accommodate custom pallet configurations for automated warehouses. For direct-to-consumer orders, we offer pick-and-pack services with poly mailers and insert cards. All packaging materials are food-grade and comply with EU and US regulations for food contact.
MOQ, Lead Times and Delivery
Sample development for a new iron liquid typically takes 7-10 working days from receipt of your formula brief and target specifications. This includes lab-scale compounding, sensory evaluation, and initial stability checks. If custom flavour or colour matching is required, add 3-5 working days. Samples are shipped by courier at your cost, and we provide a preliminary COA. Once you approve the sample, we issue a proforma invoice and begin production scheduling.
Mass production lead time is 20-35 working days after receipt of deposit and approval of all artwork and packaging components. This includes raw material procurement, compounding, filling, labelling, and quality release. For repeat orders with existing components, lead time can be reduced to 15-25 working days. We keep you updated with weekly production status reports. Shipping by air takes 5-10 days to major hubs, while sea freight takes 25-35 days to Europe and 20-30 days to the US. We can arrange EXW, FOB, or DDP terms depending on your preference.
Shipping documents provided include commercial invoice, packing list, bill of lading or airway bill, COA, MSDS, and a free-sale certificate for most destinations. For plant-based products, a phytosanitary certificate is not typically required for liquids, but we can arrange one if your country demands it. We also provide a certificate of origin if needed for tariff purposes. Our logistics team coordinates with your freight forwarder or uses our own network to ensure smooth customs clearance.
