Liquid Emulsion Manufacturer for Dietary Supplements
Scale your supplement brand with a GMP-certified liquid emulsion manufacturer. We produce stable oil-in-water and water-in-oil emulsions in 30–500 mL bottles, with MOQs from 1,000 units and 7–10 day sample turnaround.
Overview
Liquid emulsions deliver lipophilic actives—vitamins, cannabinoids, omega-3s—in a water-soluble format with improved bioavailability. As a contract manufacturer in Guangdong, China, EUPHM handles formulation, high-shear emulsification, homogenisation, and aseptic filling under one roof. Our facility is GMP, ISO 22000, and HACCP certified, with halal, and organic options available. We serve brands in the US, EU, UK, and Middle East.

Emulsification Capability and Equipment
Our plant runs high-shear mixers and two-stage homogenisers to produce droplets in the 200–500 nm range. This supports transparent microemulsions and opaque macroemulsions. We handle batch sizes from 500 L to 5,000 L, with in-line viscosity and particle size checks. Filling lines accommodate 30–500 mL bottles at speeds up to 50,000 units per day.
For pilot runs, we offer 100–500 unit batches to validate stability and taste before scaling. All contact parts are 316L stainless steel. Clean-in-place (CIP) and steam-in-place (SIP) systems reduce cross-contamination risk between products.
Formulation and Ingredient Compatibility
Emulsions are sensitive to pH, ionic strength, and temperature. We formulate with food-grade emulsifiers such as polysorbate 80, lecithin, and sucrose esters, paired with stabilisers like xanthan gum or gellan. Actives including CoQ10, vitamin D3, CBD, and fish oil can be incorporated at loadings from 0.1% to 20% w/w.
We test compatibility with preservatives (potassium sorbate, sodium benzoate) and antioxidants (mixed tocopherols, ascorbyl palmitate). For clean-label projects, we can use rosemary extract and natural gums. Flavour masking is available for bitter actives.
Quality Control and Regulatory Support
Every batch undergoes stability testing at 25°C/60% RH and 40°C/75% RH for 3–6 months. We check droplet size, zeta potential, pH, viscosity, and microbial limits. Our QC lab performs HPLC for active potency and GC for residual solvents. Documentation includes Certificate of Analysis, MSDS, and allergen statements.
Our regulatory team assists with label reviews for US (FDA-registered facility), EU (EFSA), UK (MHRA), and Middle East (SFDA, UAE MOH) markets. We provide halal certificates on request. Annual audits are welcomed.
Quality Control and Batch Documentation
Every liquid emulsion batch is tested at three stages: incoming raw materials, in-process emulsion, and finished product. Identity and potency of actives are confirmed by HPLC or GC, microbial limits by USP <61>/<62>, heavy metals by ICP-MS, and emulsion stability by particle size analysis and centrifugation. For oil-in-water systems we also check pH, viscosity, and droplet size distribution to confirm the emulsion remains homogeneous through shelf life.
Batch records are compiled into a certificate of analysis (COA) that lists specification, method, result, and pass/fail for each test. COAs are issued per batch and include lot number, manufacture and expiry dates, and storage conditions. Retention samples of each batch are held for the shelf life plus six months at 25°C/60% RH and 30°C/65% RH, with accelerated stability at 40°C/75% RH for three months to support a 24-month claim where formulation permits.
Stability protocols follow ICH Q1A(R2) where applicable. We test at 0, 1, 3, 6, 9, 12, 18, and 24 months for appearance, pH, potency, microbial count, and emulsion separation. Any out-of-specification result triggers an investigation and a documented deviation. Batch documentation, including executed batch records and COAs, is retained for five years and is available to the brand owner on request.
Packaging, Labelling and Retail Readiness
Liquid emulsions are filled into amber or opaque PET bottles, glass bottles, stick packs, or single-serve sachets. Bottle sizes range from 30 mL to 500 mL, with induction seals, tamper-evident caps, and dosing cups or pumps as required. Stick packs and sachets are filled on vertical form-fill-seal lines with fill weights from 10 mL to 30 mL. We can apply shrink sleeves, pressure-sensitive labels, or direct print, and we hold artwork files for repeat orders.
For US-bound products, labels must carry the FDA dietary supplement panel: supplement facts, serving size, amount per serving, percent daily value where applicable, and a complete list of ingredients by common name. We also include lot number and expiry date in a legible format, and we can add Amazon FNSKU barcodes, retail shelf tags, and GS1-128 carton codes. For EU and UK markets, we support allergen declarations, nutrition declarations, and the required food business operator address.
Cartons are specified to withstand export handling: typical corrugated board is B-flute or C-flute, with a compression strength of at least 400 lb. Pallet configuration is 1,200 x 1,000 mm or 1,200 x 800 mm, stretch-wrapped and edge-protected. We provide carton dimensions, gross and net weights, and pallet quantities in advance so the brand owner can plan Amazon FBA inbound shipments or retail distribution centre deliveries.
MOQ, Lead Times and Delivery
The minimum order quantity for liquid emulsions is 1,000 units per SKU for retail-ready bottles, with lower thresholds for pilot runs subject to line scheduling. Sample development takes 7 to 10 working days from receipt of a signed brief and reference materials. Sample approval is required before mass production, and any formulation change after approval restarts the sample timeline.
Mass production runs 20 to 35 working days after sample approval, depending on packaging component lead times and whether the emulsion requires a stability hold. We ship by air for urgent orders (5 to 10 days door to door) and by sea for full-container loads (25 to 40 days port to port). Incoterms offered are EXW, FOB Shenzhen or Hong Kong, and DDP for select destinations. We provide a commercial invoice, packing list, COA, MSDS, and a free-sale certificate on request. Phytosanitary certificates are issued where plant-derived ingredients require them.
For repeat orders, we hold approved artwork and formulation records to reduce lead time. Delivery schedules are confirmed at order acknowledgement, and we notify the brand owner of any deviation within 48 hours. Shipping documents are sent electronically within three working days of vessel departure or air waybill issuance.
