Hyaluronic Acid Liquid Manufacturer for Drinks and Shots

Hyaluronic Acid Liquid Manufacturer for Drinks and Shots

EUPHM produces hyaluronic acid liquids in Guangdong: oral shots, beauty drinks and sachets. Fill volumes from 25 ml to 500 ml, MOQ 1,000 units per SKU, samples in 7-10 working days. GMP, ISO 22000 and HACCP certified.

Overview

Hyaluronic acid is dose-sensitive. In liquid form, molecular weight, pH and buffering decide whether a 100 mg serving stays stable for 18 months or degrades in six. We formulate and bottle HA liquids at one plant: pilot batches from 1,000 units, mass production in 20-35 working days, and full documentation for US, EU, UK and Middle East retail. This page covers what we make, how we formulate, and what you receive at handover.

Liquid filling capacity and formats

Our liquid lines run glass and PET bottles, stick sachets and aluminium pouches. Bottle filling covers 25 ml to 500 ml at 8,000-12,000 units per shift; sachet filling runs 30,000-50,000 units per shift. Hot fill, cold fill and aseptic options are available depending on preservative strategy and shelf-life target. For a 30 ml beauty shot at 100 mg HA, a typical first order is 5,000 units, which fits one pilot batch and one stability pull.

We handle the full chain in-house: water treatment, batching, homogenisation, filling, capping, labelling and cartoning. That means one point of contact for your HA liquid program, whether you need a single SKU or a range across three bottle sizes. If you also sell powders or capsules, the same project manager coordinates all formats so your launch dates stay aligned. Lead times are quoted per line, not per department.

Formulating HA liquids that stay stable

Hyaluronic acid comes in a range of molecular weights. Low molecular weight (50-300 kDa) dissolves quickly and suits clear drinks; high molecular weight (1,000-2,000 kDa) gives a thicker mouthfeel but can turn hazy. We test both in your target pH window, usually pH 3.8-4.6 for shelf-stable drinks, and adjust with citrate or malate buffers. Typical HA load is 20-200 mg per serving, depending on your label claim and cost target.

HA works well with vitamin C, collagen peptides, elastin, zinc and biotin. It is less compatible with high levels of divalent minerals, which can cloud the liquid over time. We run accelerated stability at 40°C/75% RH for 3 months and real-time testing at 25°C/60% RH for 12-24 months. Flavour systems include berry, citrus, lychee, peach and unflavoured. Sweetener options cover sucrose, stevia, monk fruit and allulose. Every formula is locked before filling begins.

Quality, compliance and shipping

The plant is GMP-certified and holds ISO 22000 and HACCP. halal and vegan documentation is available on request. We are an FDA-registered facility, which supports US market entry but is not an FDA approval. Each batch ships with a certificate of analysis covering HA assay, pH, viscosity, total plate count, yeast and mould, and heavy metals. Retain samples are kept for 24 months. Third-party testing through SGS, Intertek or Eurofins can be arranged at cost.

Labels are reviewed against US, EU, UK and GCC rules before printing. We check ingredient naming, allergen statements, net contents and health claim wording. Export packing uses cartons with desiccant where needed, and we ship FOB Shenzhen or Yantian. Air freight for samples takes 3-5 days; sea freight to Los Angeles is 18-22 days, to Rotterdam 28-32 days, to Jebel Ali 20-24 days. MOQ for retail bottling is 1,000 units per SKU.

Quality Control and Batch Documentation

Every hyaluronic acid liquid batch is tested at three points: incoming raw material, in-process fill, and finished goods. Raw HA powder is verified for identity by FTIR and for potency by HPLC or spectrophotometric assay, with a specification of 95.0-105.0% of label claim. Microbial limits follow USP <61> and <62>: total aerobic count below 100 cfu/ml, yeast and mould below 10 cfu/ml, absence of E. coli and Salmonella. Heavy metals are screened by ICP-MS against ICH Q3D limits, typically lead below 0.5 ppm, arsenic below 0.5 ppm, cadmium below 0.5 ppm and mercury below 0.1 ppm.

In-process checks cover pH (target 4.5-7.0 depending on the formula), viscosity, fill volume by weight, and seal integrity. Finished goods are tested for potency, pH, microbials, and where relevant preservative efficacy by challenge test. Each batch has a certificate of analysis listing test parameter, method, specification, result and pass/fail. The COA also shows batch number, manufacture date, expiry date, fill volume and storage conditions. A retention sample of at least two retail units per batch is held for the shelf life plus six months.

Stability follows a bracketed protocol: real-time at 25°C/60% RH and accelerated at 40°C/75% RH for six months, with checkpoints at 0, 1, 2, 3 and 6 months. Parameters include potency, pH, appearance, microbials and package integrity. For a 100 mg HA shot in a 30 ml bottle, we typically see less than 5% potency loss over 18 months at 25°C when pH is buffered between 5.5 and 6.5. Degradation accelerates above pH 7, which is why we avoid alkaline systems unless the formula requires them.

Documentation at handover includes the executed batch record, COA, stability summary, raw material certificates, allergen statement and, where applicable, halal certificates. If you need a specific test not in our standard panel, such as residual solvents or ethylene oxide, we can add it to the batch protocol with a lead time of five to seven working days and a per-test fee.

Packaging, Labelling and Retail Readiness

Hyaluronic acid liquids are filled into PET or glass bottles, stick packs, sachets and blisters. Bottles range from 25 ml to 500 ml with standard neck finishes 18/415, 20/410 and 24/410; stick packs are 10-30 ml, sachets 5-30 ml. For shots we recommend a 30 ml PET bottle with a tamper-evident cap and a shrink band. Fill accuracy is ±2% by weight. We can apply full-wrap labels, pressure-sensitive labels or direct print, and we hold artwork templates for common retail formats.

For US dietary supplement labels, we include the statement of identity, net quantity, supplement facts panel with HA amount per serving, other ingredients, directions, warnings, and the manufacturer/distributor block. We do not add structure/function claims without your substantiation file. Lot and expiry are inkjet or laser coded on the bottle and outer carton in DD/MM/YYYY or MM/YYYY format. Cartons are typically 12, 24 or 48 units with a gross weight of 6-12 kg; pallets are 1.2 m × 1.0 m or 1.2 m × 0.8 m, shrink-wrapped, with a maximum height of 1.8 m.

For Amazon and other retail channels, we can print FNSKU labels, apply polybags with suffocation warnings, and pack in ISTA-3A tested shippers. We do not register your brand on Amazon; that remains your responsibility. For EU retail, we include the food business operator address, nutrition declaration per 100 ml and per serving, and allergen information. If your label needs a health claim, we will flag it for your regulatory review rather than draft it ourselves.

MOQ, Lead Times and Delivery

Sampling starts with a brief: fill volume, HA dose, pH target, preservative system, packaging and label. We provide a quotation within two working days and a sample in 7-10 working days. Sample cost is credited against the first mass-production order. Mass production runs 20-35 working days after sample approval and receipt of deposit, depending on packaging lead times and whether the formula needs a stability check before scale-up.

MOQ is 1,000 units per SKU for standard bottles and sticks are possible with a surcharge. For orders below 5,000 units we typically ship by air: 5-10 days door-to-door, with a cost of roughly USD 4-8 per kg depending on destination. Sea freight is economical above 500 kg or 2 CBM, taking 25-40 days to EU and US ports. We ship EXW, FOB Shenzhen or Hong Kong, and DDP for select destinations.

Documents provided with each shipment include commercial invoice, packing list, COA, MSDS, free-sale certificate, and certificate of origin. For plant-based or organic claims we provide the relevant supplier certificates. Phytosanitary certificates are not applicable to HA liquids but can be arranged for botanical blends if required. We do not provide a US FDA food facility registration number for your brand; we provide ours for the manufacturing site, which you can reference in your supplier verification.

Questions buyers ask.

What is the MOQ for a hyaluronic acid liquid product?+

For retail bottling, the MOQ is 1,000 units per SKU. Pilot runs can be lower, typically 1,000-2,000 units, but unit cost is higher. Stick sachets with printed film start at 10,000 units. MOQ depends on bottle mould availability and whether the formula is already developed.

How long does sampling take for an HA drink or shot?+

Sample lead time is 7-10 working days from brief approval. That includes bench formulation, one flavour profile and a stability pre-check. If you need a second flavour or a different HA dose, add 3-5 working days. Samples are shipped by air, usually 3-5 days to the US or EU.

Which hyaluronic acid molecular weights do you use?+

We stock low molecular weight (50-300 kDa) and high molecular weight (1,000-2,000 kDa) grades. Low MW suits clear, fast-dissolving drinks. High MW gives a thicker mouthfeel but may require clarity testing. We can blend both to hit a target viscosity and label claim.

Can you produce HA liquids without preservatives?+

Yes, with the right process. Hot fill at 85-92°C or aseptic filling can achieve 12-18 months shelf life without preservatives, provided pH is below 4.2 and water activity is controlled. We validate the chosen process on your formula before mass production. Cold fill without preservatives is not recommended for ambient storage.

What certifications come with an HA liquid order?+

Each batch ships with a COA covering HA assay, pH, viscosity, microbial counts and heavy metals. Facility documents include GMP, ISO 22000 and HACCP. halal and vegan certificates are available where the formula and supply chain qualify. We are an FDA-registered facility; this is not an FDA approval.

What is the shelf life of a hyaluronic acid liquid and how is it verified?+

Shelf life is typically 18 months from manufacture when stored below 25°C and away from direct light. We verify it with real-time and accelerated stability studies: six months at 40°C/75% RH and up to 18 months at 25°C/60% RH, with potency, pH and microbial checks at defined intervals. The labelled expiry is based on the real-time data plus a safety margin, not on accelerated data alone.

Can you fill hyaluronic acid liquids into stick packs or sachets?+

Yes. We fill stick packs from 10 ml to 30 ml and sachets from 5 ml to 30 ml on vertical form-fill-seal lines. Stick packs suit single-serve shots and travel formats; sachets suit sample or subscription packs. Both use food-grade multilayer film with an aluminium or EVOH barrier. Minimum order is 5,000 units per SKU for sticks and sachets, with a 20-30 working day production window after artwork approval.

Do you provide a free-sale certificate and what else is needed for customs?+

Yes, we issue a free-sale certificate for the manufacturing site, typically valid for one year, plus COA, MSDS, certificate of origin and commercial invoice. For EU imports you may also need a food contact declaration for the packaging, which we can supply. We do not act as importer of record; your customs broker uses these documents to clear the shipment under your own registration.
