Zinc Liquid Manufacturer for Private Label Brands
Source zinc liquid supplements from a GMP-certified plant in Guangdong. MOQ 1,000 units, 7-10 day samples, and 20-35 day production runs. Halal and organic options available.
Overview
Zinc liquids are one of the fastest-growing formats in the mineral supplement aisle. They suit children's products, adult immunity lines and sports recovery SKUs. But the format is unforgiving: zinc salts settle, taste turns metallic, and dosing must stay accurate to the last bottle. EUPHM runs dedicated liquid lines for zinc gluconate, zinc citrate and zinc picolinate. This page covers what a zinc liquid manufacturer actually controls, and where brands get caught out.

Liquid Filling Capacity and Line Setup
EUPHM operates four liquid filling lines with a combined output of 120,000 bottles per day. Two lines handle 30-60 ml dropper bottles at 80-120 bottles per minute. The other two run 100-237 ml bottles at 60-90 bottles per minute. Each line has inline checkweighing to ±1% fill accuracy. That matters for zinc: a 10 mg dose in a 60 ml bottle means the active is a small fraction of total volume, so fill variance directly affects label claims.
Changeover between SKUs takes 4-6 hours, including a full CIP cycle. We schedule zinc runs in campaigns of 5,000-50,000 units to keep per-unit costs down. For brands testing the format, pilot runs of 500-2,000 units are available on the same equipment. Bottle sizes, caps and droppers are sourced from qualified suppliers in Guangdong and Zhejiang, with 15-20 day lead times on packaging.
Zinc Forms, Taste and Stability
Zinc gluconate is the workhorse: mild taste, good solubility, low cost. Zinc citrate buffers well in acidic systems and suits gummies, but in liquids it can leave a chalky mouthfeel. Zinc picolinate and bisglycinate carry higher raw material costs but allow smaller doses with better absorption claims. Zinc oxide is cheap but nearly insoluble in water; it works only in suspension systems with strong stabilisers. EUPHM formulates with all five, and we will tell you which one fits your dosage and taste target.
The real formulation challenge is metallic aftertaste. Zinc ions bind to proteins and some sweeteners, and the effect compounds over shelf life. We use a buffered system with citric acid and sodium citrate, plus a masking blend of berry or citrus flavour. Accelerated stability testing at 40°C/75% RH for 3 months confirms taste and potency. Typical shelf life is 18-24 months. Preservatives are potassium sorbate and sodium benzoate at 0.1% each, or a natural rosemary extract system for clean-label lines.
Quality, Certifications and Shipping
The plant is GMP-certified, ISO 22000 and HACCP compliant. Halal and certifications are held for relevant SKUs. Every zinc lot is tested for elemental zinc content by ICP-MS, plus microbials, heavy metals and pH. Certificates of analysis ship with each batch. We retain samples for 24 months. If you need third-party verification, we work with Eurofins and SGS on a per-project basis.
Shipping from Guangdong covers most markets in 18-30 days by sea and 5-8 days by air. We handle export documentation, including certificate of origin, health certificate and free sale certificate. For US buyers, we can ship to a 3PL in Los Angeles or New Jersey. For EU and UK buyers, we provide the technical file and label review needed for notification. Middle East shipments include halal certification and Arabic labelling support.
Zinc Liquid Quality Control and Batch Documentation
Every zinc liquid batch is tested at three points: incoming raw material, in-process bulk, and finished filled bottles. Zinc gluconate, citrate and picolinate are assayed by ICP-OES or EDTA titration to confirm elemental zinc content within 95-105% of label claim. Microbial testing covers total aerobic count, yeast and mould, E. coli and Salmonella, with results released only after 48-72 hours of incubation. Heavy metals (lead, arsenic, cadmium, mercury) are screened against EU and US Pharmacopoeia limits, typically lead under 0.5 ppm in the finished liquid.
A Certificate of Analysis (COA) accompanies every shipment and lists batch number, manufacture and expiry dates, fill volume, pH, appearance, elemental zinc assay, microbial results and heavy metals. Retention samples from each batch are held for 24 months at 25°C/60% RH and 12 months at 30°C/65% RH, with accelerated stability at 40°C/75% RH for 3 months. These samples allow re-testing if a customer raises a query months after delivery. Stability protocols follow ICH Q1A(R2) guidelines, with time points at 0, 1, 2, 3, 6, 12 and 24 months for long-term conditions.
For zinc liquids, additional checks include sedimentation volume, resuspendability after 30 seconds of shaking, and taste masking efficacy assessed by an internal sensory panel. Preservative efficacy testing (PET) is performed on multi-dose bottles to confirm the system meets USP <51> or EP 5.1.3 criteria. If a brand requires custom specifications, such as a narrower pH range or a specific zinc salt source, these are written into the batch record and verified at release. All testing is conducted in-house or at a third-party ISO 17025 laboratory, with raw data retained for five years.
Documentation packs are issued in English as standard, with other languages available on request. Each pack includes the COA, batch record summary, stability summary and a declaration of allergen and GMO status. For markets requiring a free-sale certificate or phytosanitary certificate, these are arranged through the local authority and typically add 5-7 working days to the dispatch timeline. Brands selling on Amazon or into EU retail should confirm that the COA references the correct product name and label version, as mismatches are a common cause of listing suspensions.
Zinc Liquid Packaging, Labelling and Retail Readiness
Zinc liquids are filled into amber PET or glass bottles with dropper or pump dispensers, in volumes from 30 ml to 237 ml. For single-serve formats, stick packs and sachets are available in 10 ml and 15 ml sizes, filled on vertical form-fill-seal lines with a fill accuracy of ±2%. Bottles can be supplied with tamper-evident seals, child-resistant closures for markets such as the US, and shrink bands. Cartons are printed to your artwork with lot number and expiry date inkjet-coded on the base and neck. Pallet configurations are built to customer specification, with standard 1,200 x 1,000 mm pallets holding 48-60 cartons per layer depending on bottle size.
For US dietary supplement labels, we verify that your artwork includes the Supplement Facts panel with elemental zinc per serving, other ingredients, net quantity, directions, and the mandatory allergen declaration. We do not design labels, but we check for the presence of these elements before printing. Lot and expiry coding follows your chosen format (e.g., LOT 12345, EXP 2027-06) and is applied to both primary and secondary packaging. For Amazon FNSKU labelling, we apply the FNSKU barcode over the original barcode or as a separate label, and can poly-bag bottles with the required suffocation warning.
Retail-ready packaging options include shelf-ready trays, display cartons and multi-packs with shrink wrap. We can print batch-specific QR codes linking to your COA or traceability page. For EU markets, the label must show the food business operator address and a nutrition declaration per 100 ml and per serving. We provide a label review checklist covering these points, but final legal responsibility remains with the brand owner. Cartons are typically 3-ply corrugated with a bursting strength of 1,200 kPa, and pallets are stretch-wrapped and edge-protected for sea freight.
If you are supplying to distributors who require GS1 barcodes, we can print these from your GTIN data. We do not register barcodes on your behalf. For sample orders, labels can be digitally printed in small runs to test shelf appearance before committing to offset printing. Typical label lead time is 10-15 working days from artwork approval, and this runs in parallel with production to avoid delays. All packaging components are checked against your approved spec sheet at incoming goods, with dimensional and print checks recorded.
Zinc Liquid MOQ, Lead Times and Delivery Terms
The standard MOQ for zinc liquid private label is 1,000 units per SKU, with pilot runs from 500 units available for market testing. Sample lead time is 7-10 working days from receipt of your formula and packaging specifications. Samples are produced on the same lines as mass production, so fill volumes and taste profiles are representative. If you need custom flavour or colour matching, add 5 working days for sensory approval. Sample costs are credited against the first mass production order.
Mass production runs 20-35 working days after sample approval, depending on bottle size, label complexity and whether components are in stock. Bottles and caps are typically held in stock for standard sizes; custom moulds add 25-30 days. We provide a production schedule at order confirmation and update it weekly. For urgent launches, a 15-working-day express option is available on 30 ml and 50 ml bottles, subject to line capacity. Payment terms are 30% deposit with balance against copy of bill of lading, or as agreed for repeat orders.
Shipping is arranged by air or sea. Air freight from Guangdong to Europe or North America takes 5-8 days door-to-door and suits orders under 500 kg. Sea freight to Rotterdam or Los Angeles takes 28-35 days port-to-port, with LCL options for 1-5 pallets. Incoterms offered are EXW, FOB Shenzhen or Hong Kong, and DDP for select markets. DDP includes customs clearance and duty, but we recommend confirming the duty rate for your HS code (typically 2106.90 for zinc liquid supplements) before choosing DDP.
Documents provided with each shipment include COA, MSDS, packing list, commercial invoice, bill of lading or airway bill, and a free-sale certificate where required. For plant-based zinc sources, a phytosanitary certificate is not normally applicable, but we can arrange a non-GMO declaration. We also provide a certificate of origin for preferential tariff treatment under applicable trade agreements. All documents are sent electronically before dispatch for your review, and hard copies travel with the shipment in a document pouch.

Questions buyers ask.
What is the MOQ for zinc liquid private label?+
MOQ is 1,000 units per SKU for standard retail bottling. For pilot runs, we accept 500-2,000 units so you can test the market. MOQ applies per SKU, not per order. If you order three zinc SKUs, each needs 1,000 units. Lower MOQs are available for sachets and sprays on a case-by-case basis.
Can you match my existing zinc liquid formula?+
Yes. Send your current product or a formulation brief. We reverse-engineer the taste, viscosity and dosage, then produce a matched sample in 7-10 working days. We do not copy branded formulas exactly, but we match functional and sensory targets. You will receive a side-by-side comparison before mass production.
What certifications do you hold for zinc liquids?+
The plant holds GMP, ISO 22000 and HACCP. Halal and certifications are available for eligible SKUs. We are an FDA-registered facility for US exports. Certificates are shared under NDA during the quoting stage. Third-party testing through Eurofins or SGS can be arranged per batch.
How long does zinc liquid production take?+
Samples take 7-10 working days. Mass production runs 20-35 working days after sample approval, depending on bottle size and packaging lead times. Pilot runs add 5-7 days. Sea freight from Guangdong adds 18-30 days to US and EU ports. Air freight is 5-8 days.
Do you offer organic or natural zinc liquid options?+
Yes. We can formulate with organic zinc gluconate or zinc citrate, and use natural preservatives such as rosemary extract. certification is available if the raw materials and the finished product meet NOP standards. Clean-label options typically add 10-15% to unit cost and 5-7 days to lead time.
What is the shelf life of your zinc liquid products?+
Shelf life is typically 24 months from the date of manufacture when stored below 25°C in the original unopened container. We support this with real-time stability data at 25°C/60% RH and accelerated data at 40°C/75% RH for 3 months. For multi-dose bottles, preservative efficacy is confirmed to remain effective throughout the shelf life. We recommend a best-before date of 18 months for products containing natural flavours to allow for gradual colour shift.
Can you supply zinc liquid in stick packs or sachets?+
Yes, we fill zinc liquid into stick packs and sachets in 10 ml and 15 ml sizes on vertical form-fill-seal lines. Fill accuracy is ±2%, and we use a three-side seal or four-side seal depending on your design. Stick packs are ideal for single-serve children's or travel formats. MOQ for stick packs is 5,000 units per SKU. We can supply a carton with a perforated dispenser or a display box for retail shelves.
Do you provide labels and packaging design?+
We do not provide graphic design or label copywriting. We can supply dielines and label dimension templates, and we review your print-ready artwork against our filling and coding requirements. We check that mandatory label elements are present for your target market, but legal responsibility for label content rests with the brand owner. For small sample runs, we can digitally print labels from your PDF to test shelf appearance before you commit to offset printing.
