Liquid Suspension Manufacturer for Stable, Uniform Doses
EUPHM produces liquid suspension supplements with uniform particle distribution and consistent potency. MOQ from 1,000 units, samples in 7-10 working days, full GMP and HACCP compliance.
Overview
Liquid suspensions keep active ingredients evenly dispersed for accurate dosing. This format suits oil- and water-based actives, from vitamins to herbal extracts. As a liquid suspension manufacturer, EUPHM handles formulation, homogenisation, filling and packaging under one roof. The plant runs GMP, ISO 22000 and HACCP systems, with halal and organic options available. Retail bottling starts at 1,000 units per SKU; pilot runs are lower.

Homogenisation and Filling Capability
Liquid suspensions require controlled particle size and viscosity to prevent settling. EUPHM uses high-shear mixers and homogenisers to achieve uniform dispersion, with in-process checks for pH, density and viscosity. The filling line handles 30 mL to 1,000 mL bottles, with accuracy of ±1% by volume. Changeover between SKUs takes under 2 hours, which keeps small batch runs practical.
The plant can run up to 40,000 bottles per shift. For suspensions with heavy solids, we use recirculation loops and agitation during filling to maintain homogeneity. Nitrogen flushing is available for oxidation-sensitive actives. Every batch is weighed and reconciled, and retain samples are kept for 24 months.
Formulation Support for Suspension Actives
Not all actives suspend equally. EUPHM's formulation team works with vitamins A, D, E, K, CoQ10, omega-3 oils, herbal extracts and minerals. We select suspending agents such as xanthan gum, cellulose derivatives or silica, depending on the required mouthfeel and stability. Preservative systems are matched to pH and water activity, with options for preservative-free formulations using pH control and thermal processing.
Flavour and sweetener systems are adjusted for oil- or water-based carriers. Typical trials cover 3-5 prototypes before a final formula is locked. Stability testing runs at 25°C/60% RH, 30°C/65% RH and 40°C/75% RH for 3-6 months, with real-time data available for shelf-life claims.
Quality Control and Compliance
Liquid suspensions are prone to separation and microbial growth if controls slip. EUPHM tests every batch for appearance, pH, viscosity, density, microbial limits and active potency. The facility is GMP-certified, ISO 22000 and HACCP compliant, and FDA-registered. halal certification are available on request, with documentation supplied per batch.
Documentation includes certificate of analysis, MSDS, allergen statements and stability reports. For EU and UK buyers, we provide full traceability from raw material lot to finished bottle. Lead times are 20-35 working days for mass production, with air and sea freight coordination from Guangdong.
Packaging, Labelling and Retail Readiness
Liquid suspensions are filled into PET or glass bottles, stick packs, sachets or blister packs. Bottle sizes range from 30 mL to 1,000 mL, with standard neck finishes 18/415, 20/410, 24/410 and 28/410. Stick packs are typically 10–30 mL and sachets 5–20 mL. Closures include tamper-evident screw caps, droppers and measuring cups. Labelling options cover pressure-sensitive labels, shrink sleeves and direct printing. Cartons are specified with dimensions, board grade (e.g. 350 gsm FBB) and print colours. Pallet configurations are designed for stability and container loading efficiency.
For the US market, labels must include a Supplement Facts panel with serving size, amount per serving and % Daily Value where applicable. Other mandatory elements are product name, net quantity, ingredient list, allergen statement, manufacturer/distributor name and address, country of origin, lot code and expiry date. We can generate print-ready artwork that meets FDA 21 CFR 101 requirements. Lot and expiry codes are applied by inkjet or laser coding at the filling line. We also handle Amazon FNSKU labelling, poly-bagging and carton marking for retail or e-commerce fulfilment.
Cartons are typically 5-ply corrugated with a bursting strength of ≥ 1,200 kPa. Pallet dimensions follow standard 1,200 x 1,000 mm or 1,200 x 800 mm footprints. Each pallet is stretch-wrapped and labelled with SSCC if required. We provide packaging specifications and dielines for approval before production. Retail compliance checks include barcode verification (GS1), nutrition labelling and claims review. For EU markets, labels must comply with Regulation (EU) No 1169/2011 and health claims Regulation (EC) No 1924/2006.
MOQ, Lead Times and Delivery
Sample requests are processed within 7–10 working days. Samples are provided free of charge for standard formulations; custom formulations may incur a development fee of USD 500–1,500, which is credited against the first order. Sample quantities are typically 2–5 bottles per SKU. Courier costs are at the buyer's expense. After sample approval, a proforma invoice is issued, and production is scheduled upon receipt of deposit (usually 30–50%).
Mass production lead time is 20–35 working days after approval of all artwork, specifications and receipt of deposit. This includes raw material procurement, production, quality testing and packaging. For repeat orders, lead time may reduce to 15–25 working days. Production capacity is up to 40,000 bottles per shift, allowing flexibility for urgent orders subject to scheduling. We provide weekly production updates and share pre-shipment samples if requested.
Shipping is arranged by air or sea. Air freight typically takes 5–10 days door-to-door; sea freight takes 25–40 days depending on destination port. Incoterms offered are EXW, FOB and DDP. Standard shipping documents include Commercial Invoice, Packing List, Bill of Lading or Air Waybill, Certificate of Origin, COA, MSDS and, where applicable, Free Sale Certificate and Phytosanitary Certificate. We can also arrange cargo insurance at 110% of invoice value. For DDP shipments, we handle customs clearance and duties in the destination country.
Batch Testing, COAs and Retention Samples
Every liquid suspension batch is tested against a written specification before release. Incoming raw materials are sampled and checked for identity by FTIR or HPLC, potency by assay, microbial limits by USP <61>/<62>, and heavy metals by ICP-MS. During production, homogenisation is monitored for particle size distribution using laser diffraction, with a target D50 of 10–50 µm depending on the active. Fill weight is checked every 30 minutes, with a tolerance of ±2% against the label claim. These checks are recorded in the batch record, which is reviewed by QA before the batch proceeds to packaging.
Finished product testing covers appearance, pH, viscosity, density, assay, microbial limits, and preservative efficacy where applicable. For suspensions containing herbal extracts, marker compounds are quantified by HPLC. Heavy metals (lead, arsenic, cadmium, mercury) are tested to FDA or EU limits, and residual solvents are checked if extraction was involved. Each batch has a certificate of analysis (COA) listing test parameters, methods, specifications, results, and pass/fail status. The COA also includes the batch number, manufacturing date, expiry date, and a statement of conformity.
Retention samples are kept for every batch: two units per SKU per batch are stored at 25°C/60% RH and 30°C/65% RH for the shelf life plus 12 months. Stability protocols follow ICH Q1A(R2) guidelines, with testing at 0, 3, 6, 9, 12, 18, and 24 months for long-term conditions, and 0, 1, 2, 3, and 6 months for accelerated conditions at 40°C/75% RH. Accelerated data supports the initial expiry date, while ongoing stability confirms it. If a batch fails any specification, it is quarantined and investigated under a documented non-conformance procedure, with root cause analysis and corrective actions recorded.
Batch documentation is available in English and can be translated into other languages on request. The documentation package includes the executed batch record (redacted for confidential formulation details if needed), COA, MSDS, and a free-sale certificate. For halal, or organic claims, the relevant certificates are provided. Documentation is issued within 5 working days of batch release and can be sent electronically or with the shipment. This supports your regulatory filings and retail compliance checks.

Samples ship in 7-10 working days after formula brief. Sample cost varies by actives and packaging; it is typically credited against the first mass production order. You receive 3-5 prototypes for sensory and stability review.
Which certifications apply to liquid suspension manufacturing?+
The plant holds GMP, ISO 22000 and HACCP. halal and vegan certifications are available depending on ingredients and process. FDA-registered facility. Certificates and batch documentation are provided with each order.
How long does mass production take?+
Mass production runs 20-35 working days after formula and packaging approval. This includes raw material sourcing, homogenisation, filling, labelling and QC. Shipping from Guangdong adds transit time by air or sea.
What testing is performed on each liquid suspension batch?+
Each batch is tested for identity, potency, microbial limits, heavy metals and pH. Additional tests may include preservative efficacy and re-dispersibility. Testing follows USP or EP methods and is performed in-house or by an ISO 17025-accredited laboratory. A Certificate of Analysis is issued with the batch, listing all results against specifications.
Can you provide retail-ready packaging for Amazon and other e-commerce channels?+
Yes. We apply FNSKU labels, poly-bagging and carton markings as required by Amazon. We also verify barcodes to GS1 standards and can design packaging that meets retail compliance for the US and EU. Artwork is provided for approval before production. Additional fees may apply for special labelling or packing requirements.
What are the shipping terms and documents provided for international orders?+
We offer EXW, FOB and DDP terms. Shipping documents include Commercial Invoice, Packing List, Bill of Lading or Air Waybill, Certificate of Origin, COA, MSDS and, where applicable, Free Sale Certificate and Phytosanitary Certificate. Air freight takes 5–10 days; sea freight 25–40 days. We can arrange insurance at 110% of invoice value.
What is the shelf life of your liquid suspensions, and how is it determined?+
Shelf life is typically 18–24 months when stored at room temperature, away from direct sunlight. It is determined through accelerated stability testing at 40°C/75% RH for 6 months and long-term testing at 25°C/60% RH. We assign an initial expiry date based on accelerated data and confirm it with ongoing stability studies. If your formulation requires refrigeration, we can validate a shorter shelf life accordingly. The expiry date is printed on each unit and recorded in the batch documentation.
Can you manufacture liquid suspensions with controlled or sustained release profiles?+
Yes, we can develop controlled-release suspensions using coated particles or matrix-forming excipients. This involves selecting polymers such as ethylcellulose or HPMC and optimising particle size and coating thickness. We run in vitro dissolution or release tests to confirm the profile, typically at 1, 2, 4, 6, 8, and 12 hours. The release mechanism is validated during formulation development and monitored in stability studies. Note that controlled-release liquids may require additional testing and a longer development timeline, usually 4–6 weeks for formulation.
How do you handle allergen control and cross-contamination in liquid suspension production?+
We follow an allergen control programme aligned with HACCP principles. Production lines are dedicated or cleaned and verified between products containing major allergens (e.g., milk, soy, gluten). Cleaning validation includes visual inspection and, where needed, ELISA swab tests for allergen residues. We maintain a allergen matrix and segregate raw materials and finished goods. If your product is allergen-free, we can schedule it on a dedicated line or after a validated cleaning cycle. This is documented in the batch record and available for audit.
