Fish Oil Liquid Manufacturer for Bulk and Private Label
Source fish oil liquids from a GMP-certified plant in Guangdong. We fill bottles from 50 ml to 1 L, handle flavours and antioxidants, and ship retail-ready with your label. MOQ starts at 1,000 units per SKU.
Overview
Liquid fish oil is a demanding format. Oxidation, taste and dosage accuracy decide whether a product sells or sits on the shelf. As a fish oil liquid manufacturer, EUPHM controls each step: oil sourcing, nitrogen blanketing, cold filling and leak testing. The plant runs GMP, ISO 22000 and HACCP systems, with halal and organic options available on request. Pilot runs start lower than the standard MOQ.

Liquid filling capability and line capacity
The liquid line fills 50 ml to 1 L bottles at 1,000-6,000 units per shift, depending on fill weight and bottle format. We run amber glass, PET and HDPE, with induction sealing and tamper-evident bands as standard. Nitrogen flushing is available on every run to displace headspace oxygen. Changeover between SKUs takes 4-6 hours, which keeps small runs practical.
For fish oil specifically, we use positive-displacement pumps and low-shear transfer to limit emulsion breakdown. Filling temperatures stay between 18-22°C to protect omega-3 fatty acids. Each batch is weight-checked inline, and a 1 in 2,000 sample is retained for 24 months. If you need a liquid manufacturer for other actives, the same line handles syrups, tinctures and suspensions.
Formulation: omega-3 concentrations and taste
We work with refined fish oil at 18/12, 30/20 and 33/22 EPA/DHA ratios, plus concentrated triglycerides up to 70% omega-3. Natural tocopherols at 500-1,000 ppm slow oxidation. For flavoured lines, we use lemon, orange or mint at 0.3-0.8% and can add stevia or monk fruit. A typical 200 ml bottle delivers 1,000-2,000 mg omega-3 per 5 ml dose.
Taste remains the main complaint in liquid fish oil. We run sensory panels on every flavour batch and measure peroxide and anisidine values before release. If your brief calls for a capsule instead, the same oil can move to softgel or two-piece capsule lines. The parent category, liquid manufacturer, covers these crossover options.
Quality control and export documentation
Every batch is tested for peroxide value, acid value, heavy metals, PCBs and microbial load. We hold retention samples for 24 months and issue a Certificate of Analysis with each shipment. The facility is FDA-registered and operates under GMP, ISO 22000 and HACCP. halal certification are available when the oil source qualifies.
For export, we prepare commercial invoices, packing lists, health certificates and certificates of origin. Documents for the EU, UK, US and Middle East are handled in-house. Air freight samples leave within 3-5 days of release; sea freight to Rotterdam takes 28-35 days, to Jebel Ali 18-22 days. We can ship FOB Shenzhen or Yantian.
Quality Control and Batch Documentation
Every batch of liquid fish oil is tested at three points: incoming oil, in-process fill and finished goods. Incoming oil is checked for identity by fatty acid profile, peroxide value (target below 5 meq/kg), anisidine value (below 20) and total oxidation (TOTOX below 26). Microbials, heavy metals (lead, cadmium, mercury, arsenic) and dioxins are tested per lot or per supplier certificate. During filling, a line sample is taken every 30 minutes for fill weight and seal integrity. Finished goods are tested for omega-3 content (EPA plus DHA), vitamin A and D if added, and microbiological safety.
A certificate of analysis (COA) accompanies every shipment. It lists batch number, production date, expiry date, tests performed, specifications, results and the analyst's signature. Heavy metals and oxidation results are included for each batch, not just a generic specification sheet. If a buyer needs a specific test such as PCB congeners or fish species identification by DNA, we can add it to the COA for an agreed fee and a three to five day extension to the release date.
Retention samples of every batch are kept for the full shelf life plus six months. They are stored at ambient and accelerated conditions (40°C and 75% relative humidity) to support stability claims. The stability protocol includes peroxide value, anisidine value, omega-3 content and sensory checks at 0, 3, 6, 12, 18 and 24 months. Results are available to buyers on request and can be used to support expiration dating on the label. We do not release a batch until the 0 and 3 month accelerated results are within specification.
Packaging, Labelling and Retail Readiness
Liquid fish oil is filled into amber glass, PET or HDPE bottles from 50 ml to 1 L, with induction seals and tamper-evident bands as standard. For single-serve formats we offer 10 ml and 15 ml stick packs and 5 ml sachets, filled on vertical form-fill-seal lines with nitrogen flush. Blister packs are not used for liquids, but we can supply dropper bottles with graduated pipettes for paediatric or precision dosing. Caps can be plain, child-resistant or measured-dose. All primary packaging materials are food-grade and supplied with migration test reports.
Labels are printed to FDA dietary-supplement requirements for the US market, including the supplement facts panel, serving size, amount per serving, percent daily value where applicable, ingredient list, allergen statement, and the address of the distributor or manufacturer. We also support EU labelling with nutrition declaration and health claims only where authorised. Lot number and expiry date are inkjet-coded on the bottle and the carton, with a minimum character height of 1.6 mm. We can add Amazon FNSKU labels, polybagging and retail-ready cartons with a maximum weight of 15 kg.
Cartons are specified to withstand export handling. Standard export carton is double-wall corrugated with a bursting strength of at least 1,200 kPa. Pallets are 1,200 x 1,000 mm or 1,200 x 800 mm, stretch-wrapped and strapped, with a maximum height of 1,800 mm including pallet. We provide a packing list with carton dimensions, net and gross weight, and pallet configuration. For retail compliance we can print GS1 barcodes, FNSKU labels and any retailer-specific carton markings. Labelling artwork is checked against your market's regulations before printing, and we keep a signed approval copy for traceability.
MOQ, Lead Times and Delivery
The standard MOQ for liquid fish oil is 1,000 units per SKU, depending on bottle size and label complexity. Pilot runs start lower, typically 1,000 to 2,000 units, so you can test the market before committing to full production. Sampling takes 7 to 10 working days from receipt of your specification and artwork. Sample costs are credited against the first mass production order. Mass production runs 20 to 35 working days after sample approval and receipt of deposit, depending on packaging availability and whether custom labels or cartons are required.
We ship by air or sea. Air freight is suitable for samples and small orders up to 500 kg, with transit times of 5 to 10 days to major airports. Sea freight is used for full pallets and full containers, with transit times of 25 to 40 days depending on destination port. We quote EXW, FOB Shenzhen or Hong Kong, and DDP for select markets. For DDP we handle customs clearance and delivery to your door, but the buyer remains responsible for import compliance and any local registration. We provide a commercial invoice, packing list, bill of lading or airway bill, COA, MSDS and a free-sale certificate on request.
Additional documents such as a certificate of origin, health certificate or phytosanitary certificate (where applicable to botanical components) can be arranged. We do not issue a phytosanitary certificate for pure fish oil, as it is not a plant product. For halal certificates, we supply copies from the certifying body for the specific batch. All documents are sent electronically before shipment and the originals are couriered with the goods or sent by express courier as agreed. We recommend booking sea freight at least four weeks before the production completion date to secure space.
