Liquid Shots Manufacturer for Private Label Brands
EUPHM fills 25-60 ml liquid shots in single-serve vials and bottles. MOQ starts at 1,000 units per SKU, with pilot runs from 1,000. Samples ship in 7-10 working days.
Overview
Liquid shots are one of the fastest-growing supplement formats, but they are also one of the hardest to fill cleanly. Viscosity, pH and preservative systems all affect how a formula behaves on a high-speed line. EUPHM runs dedicated liquid filling lines in Guangdong, with in-house water treatment, batching and nitrogen flushing. This page covers what a liquid shots manufacturer actually controls: fill accuracy, seal integrity, shelf life and label compliance for US, EU, UK and Middle East retail.

Filling lines built for low-viscosity liquids
Liquid shots are usually water-based, with 5-15% active solids and a pH between 3.0 and 4.5. That combination is easy to pump but hard to fill without drips, foam or headspace variation. EUPHM runs two monoblock filling lines rated at 6,000-9,000 units per hour for 30 ml vials, and a slower line for 50-60 ml bottles at 1,000-4,500 units per hour. Fill accuracy is held to ±1.5% by weight on a 30 ml shot. Inline checkweighers reject any unit outside that band before capping.
Capping options include screw caps with induction seals, press-on caps and twist-off caps. For carbonated or oxygen-sensitive formulas, we fill under nitrogen and target a residual headspace oxygen level below 2%. Every batch is logged with fill weight, torque and seal integrity data. If your formula contains oils, we run a pre-homogenisation step to keep the emulsion stable through the 20-35 day production window.
Formulation support for shots and vials
A liquid shot is a preservation problem before it is a flavour problem. Most brands want a 12-24 month shelf life at ambient temperature. That usually means a combination of pH adjustment, water activity control and a preservative system such as potassium sorbate with sodium benzoate, or a natural alternative like cultured dextrose. EUPHM's formulation team can work with your existing recipe or develop a base from scratch. We test stability at 25°C and 40°C for 4, 8 and 12 weeks before release.
Common actives we handle include vitamin C, B-complex, zinc, elderberry, turmeric, ginger, collagen peptides, biotin and electrolytes. Dosages are constrained by taste and solubility. For example, zinc gluconate is tolerable up to about 15 mg per 30 ml shot; above that, the metallic note needs masking. We keep a library of 40-plus flavour systems, including mango, citrus, berry and neutral. Sweetener options cover sucralose, stevia, monk fruit and allulose. All ingredients are sourced against a specification and tested on receipt.
Quality control and export documentation
EUPHM operates a GMP-certified facility with ISO 22000 and HACCP systems. Each batch of liquid shots is tested for pH, viscosity, fill weight, seal integrity, total plate count, yeast and mould, and the target active marker. We retain samples for 24 months. Certificates of analysis are issued per batch and can be linked to your SKU code. For halal claims, we hold current certificates and can provide ingredient-level declarations.
Export documentation covers US, EU, UK and Middle East requirements. That includes certificates of free sale, health certificates, halal certificates for GCC markets, and allergen statements. Labels can be reviewed against FDA 21 CFR 101, EU 1169/2011 or UK FSA guidance before printing. We ship FOB Shenzhen or Yantian, with air freight for pilot runs. Typical sea freight to Los Angeles is 18-22 days; to Rotterdam, 28-32 days. EUPHM handles the full document set, so your customs broker is not chasing missing pages.
Quality Control and Batch Documentation
Every batch of liquid shots is tested at three stages: incoming raw materials, in-process fill, and finished goods. Identity and potency are confirmed by HPLC for actives such as vitamins, caffeine and herbal extracts. Microbial testing covers total aerobic count, yeast and mould, and absence of E. coli and Salmonella. Heavy metals (lead, arsenic, cadmium, mercury) are screened against USP <232> limits. For shots containing suspended solids, we also check viscosity and pH to ensure the fill line runs without clogging.
A Certificate of Analysis (COA) is issued for each batch and includes the product name, batch number, manufacturing date, expiry date, tests performed, specifications, results and pass/fail status. Retention samples from every batch are stored under controlled conditions for the full shelf life plus six months. Stability protocols follow ICH guidelines: real-time at 25°C/60% RH and accelerated at 40°C/75% RH for three and six months. These data support the expiry date printed on the label.
Microbial testing is performed on the finished product after filling, not just on raw materials, because the fill environment and packaging can introduce contamination. We swab critical control points on the line weekly. Water used in production is tested daily for conductivity and microbial count. All records are kept for five years and are available for audit by the brand owner or their designated third party.
Packaging, Labelling and Retail Readiness
Liquid shots are typically filled into 25 ml to 60 ml bottles with tamper-evident caps, or into stick packs and sachets. Bottles can be glass or PET, with label options including pressure-sensitive, shrink-sleeve and direct print. For stick packs, we offer 10 ml to 30 ml fill volumes with tear-notch and straw-punch features. Cartons are specified with lot and expiry coding via inkjet or laser, and we can apply Amazon FNSKU labels or retail-ready carton markings on request.
For the US market, labels must include the statement of identity, net quantity, ingredient list, allergen declaration, and a supplement facts panel with nutrient amounts and % Daily Value. We check that the label artwork includes the manufacturer or distributor name and address, and the required 'Keep out of reach of children' warning. For EU and UK, we verify compliance with FIC regulation and supplement-specific labelling. We do not provide regulatory advice but will flag missing elements before printing.
Cartons are typically 12, 24 or 48 units per shipper, with dimensions and weights provided for freight planning. Pallets are standard 1200 x 1000 mm or 1200 x 800 mm, stretch-wrapped and labelled with batch and quantity. We can also produce display-ready cases for retail shelves. All packaging materials are food-grade and meet EU 10/2011 and FDA 21 CFR 174-190 for food contact.
MOQ, Lead Times and Delivery
Sample production takes 7-10 working days from approved formula and packaging. The sample includes a COA and a preliminary stability report. Mass production runs 20-35 working days after sample approval and receipt of deposit, depending on packaging complexity and whether labels are supplied by the brand or printed by us. We schedule production in batches to maintain fill accuracy and minimise changeover losses.
Shipping options include air freight (5-10 days door-to-door) and sea freight (25-40 days port-to-port). We work with EXW, FOB Shenzhen or Hong Kong, and DDP for select destinations. For DDP, we handle customs clearance and duties, but the brand owner remains responsible for regulatory compliance in the destination market. We provide a commercial invoice, packing list, bill of lading or airway bill, COA, MSDS, and a free-sale certificate where required. Phytosanitary certificates are available for herbal ingredients of plant origin.
Lead times are confirmed at order acceptance. Delays can occur if label artwork is not approved or if packaging materials arrive late. We recommend ordering packaging to our facility at least two weeks before production start. For repeat orders, we keep master batch records and retention samples to streamline the process.
Formats and Packaging Options
30 ml single-serve vial
The most common retail format. Screw cap with induction seal. Fits standard 30-count trays and shelf-ready display boxes.

Questions buyers ask.
What is the MOQ for liquid shots?+
MOQ is 1,000 units per SKU for retail bottling. For pilot runs, we can go down to 1,000 units. The lower MOQ applies when you use a stock bottle and cap from our existing moulds. Custom moulds usually push the MOQ to 5,000 units.
How long does sample production take?+
Sample lead time is 7-10 working days after we receive your formula and packaging requirements. Samples include 3-5 units per SKU. If you need stability data before ordering, add 4-12 weeks for accelerated testing. We can ship samples by air courier.
Can you match a competitor's formula?+
We do not copy a competitor's exact formula, but we can reverse-engineer a similar profile from a label. Send the ingredient list and we will propose a base with comparable taste, pH and preservative system. You own the final formula and we sign an NDA before work starts.
What certifications do you hold?+
EUPHM holds GMP, ISO 22000 and HACCP certifications. We also hold halal certificates for relevant SKUs. vegan claims are supported where the ingredient supply chain qualifies. Certificates are available on request and are linked to specific production batches.
What is the shelf life of a liquid shot?+
Typical shelf life is 12-24 months at ambient temperature. It depends on pH, water activity and the preservative system. We validate shelf life with accelerated testing at 25°C and 40°C for 4, 8 and 12 weeks. If your formula needs refrigeration, we will state that on the label.
Can you provide a Certificate of Analysis for each batch?+
Yes, a COA is issued for every batch and includes identity, potency, microbials, heavy metals and pH results. It also lists specifications and pass/fail status. The COA is sent with the shipping documents and can be provided in advance for review.
What label elements are required for US dietary supplements?+
US labels need a statement of identity, net quantity, supplement facts panel, ingredient list, allergen declaration, and name and place of business of the manufacturer or distributor. We check artwork for these elements but do not provide legal advice; final compliance rests with the brand owner.
What are the shipping terms and documents provided?+
We offer EXW, FOB and DDP. Documents include commercial invoice, packing list, bill of lading or airway bill, COA, MSDS, and free-sale certificate. Phytosanitary certificates are available for plant-based ingredients. We recommend confirming Incoterms at order placement.
