Electrolytes Liquid Manufacturer for Private Label Brands

Electrolytes Liquid Manufacturer for Private Label Brands

EUPHM produces ready-to-drink electrolyte liquids in sachets, sticks and bottles. MOQ from 1,000 units per SKU, samples in 7-10 working days, mass production in 20-35 working days. GMP, ISO 22000 and HACCP certified.

Overview

Sourcing a liquid electrolyte manufacturer means balancing sodium, potassium and magnesium ratios with shelf life, taste and cost per serving. EUPHM runs dedicated liquid lines for shots, stick packs and 500ml bottles. We handle hot-fill and aseptic filling, nitrogen flushing and label application. Whether you need a zero-sugar sports formula or a daily hydration sachet, we scale from pilot runs to 50,000-unit orders without changing your specification.

Liquid Filling Capability and Formats

EUPHM operates four liquid filling lines for electrolyte products. Two lines handle 30ml and 50ml PET bottles with induction sealing and shrink sleeves. One line runs 15ml stick packs at 400,000 units per day. The fourth line fills 250ml to 750ml HDPE or PET bottles with sport caps. We use hot-fill at 85°C for shelf-stable formulas and aseptic filling for heat-sensitive ingredients like vitamin C and B-complex.

Changeover between SKUs takes 4-6 hours, which keeps small batch runs economical. Nitrogen flushing is available on all lines to protect oxidation-prone electrolytes and flavours. For carbonated electrolyte drinks, we have a separate filler with 2.5 volumes CO2. Every line runs inline metal detection and checkweighing. Typical fill accuracy is ±1.5% for bottles and ±2% for stick packs. We can also run shaped sachets and 1L pouches for bulk or food service.

Formulation: Sodium, Potassium and Taste

A standard oral rehydration formula uses 500-700mg sodium, 300-500mg potassium and 50-100mg magnesium per 500ml. For sports drinks, sodium can reach 1,000mg per bottle. EUPHM keeps a library of 40+ electrolyte base blends using sodium citrate, potassium chloride, magnesium citrate and sea salt. We adjust osmolality to 200-280 mOsm/kg for faster gastric emptying. Sweetener systems include cane sugar, allulose, stevia, monk fruit and sucralose.

Flavour matching is done in-house with 12 natural and 20 nature-identical options. Common profiles are lemon-lime, berry, orange, watermelon and coconut. We can match a competitor sample within 3-5 iterations. pH is controlled between 3.2 and 4.0 for microbial stability. Preservative-free options use hot-fill or aseptic processing. For keto and zero-sugar claims, we test final sugar content below 0.5g per serving. All formulas are locked with a signed specification sheet before production.

Quality, Compliance and Export Logistics

EUPHM is a GMP-certified facility with ISO 22000 and HACCP. We are FDA-registered for US export. Each batch has a certificate of analysis covering sodium, potassium, magnesium, pH, Brix, total plate count and yeast/mould. Heavy metal testing (lead, arsenic, cadmium, mercury) is done per finished lot. We retain samples for 24 months. For halal claims, we source certified raw materials and run dedicated cleaning between runs.

Shipping from Guangdong covers FOB Shenzhen or Hong Kong. A 20ft container holds about 22,000 bottles of 500ml or 180,000 stick packs. We prepare export documents including commercial invoice, packing list, health certificate and certificate of origin. For EU clients, we can provide a statement of compliance with EC 178/2002. Lead time from deposit to port is 25-40 days depending on format and order size. Air freight for samples or urgent runs takes 5-7 days.

Quality Control and Batch Documentation

Every electrolyte liquid batch is tested against a written specification before release. Incoming raw materials are checked for identity and potency: sodium chloride, potassium citrate and magnesium gluconate are assayed by titration or HPLC, and water is tested for conductivity and microbial count. During production, fill weight is verified every 30 minutes on a calibrated checkweigher, with a tolerance of ±2% for bottles and ±3% for stick packs. Brix and pH are monitored at the start, middle and end of each run to confirm the formula remains within the approved range.

Finished product testing covers microbials (total plate count, yeast and mould, E. coli, Salmonella), heavy metals (lead, arsenic, cadmium, mercury) and potency of the declared electrolytes. For liquid formats, we also test seal integrity and, where applicable, preservative efficacy against a standard challenge test. Results are recorded on a certificate of analysis (COA) that lists the batch number, production date, expiry date, test methods and specification limits. A COA is issued with every shipment, and a retained sample from each batch is kept for 24 months.

Stability follows an accelerated protocol at 40°C and 75% relative humidity for three months, plus real-time testing at ambient conditions for the declared shelf life. We test at 0, 1, 2, 3, 6, 12 and 24 months for pH, colour, flavour, microbial count and electrolyte potency. If a formula contains heat-sensitive vitamins or botanicals, we recommend aseptic filling and nitrogen flushing to reduce degradation. Stability data is available to brand owners under a confidentiality agreement, and we can run a custom stability study for new formulations at a fee that is credited against the first production order.

Retention samples are stored in the original packaging at 25°C and 60% relative humidity. For each batch, we keep at least 12 units for bottles and 30 units for stick packs. These samples are used for complaint investigations and annual product reviews. If a deviation is found during testing, the batch is placed on hold and an investigation report is issued within five working days. We do not release a batch without a signed quality release from the QA manager.

Packaging, Labelling and Retail Readiness

Liquid electrolytes are filled into PET bottles, glass bottles, stick packs and sachets. Standard bottle sizes are 250ml, 500ml and 750ml, with 30ml shots and 15ml stick packs for single-serve formats. Caps can be screw-top, sports cap or tamper-evident. For stick packs, we use a three-layer laminate with a tear notch and a registered print area of up to six colours. We can apply shrink sleeves, pressure-sensitive labels or direct print. Carton specifications are agreed per SKU: typical is a 12-bottle shelf-ready carton with a corrugated board grade of 32 ECT, and pallet configuration of 48 cartons per layer, 6 layers high, stretch-wrapped and edge-protected.

For the US market, we prepare FDA dietary-supplement labels with the required statement of identity, net quantity, supplement facts panel, ingredient list, allergen declaration and the address of the distributor. We do not write the supplement facts panel for you, but we check that the values match the formula and that the label includes the mandatory 'Distributed by' or 'Manufactured for' line. Lot and expiry coding is applied by inkjet or laser on the bottle shoulder or the stick pack seal, in a format agreed with your quality team. We can also add a QR code for batch traceability.

For Amazon and retail compliance, we can print and apply FNSKU labels, poly-bag units with a suffocation warning where required, and pack to Amazon's carton weight and dimension limits. We do not register your brand on Amazon or handle FBA shipments, but we can prepare cartons with the correct FBA box labels and provide a packing list that matches your shipment plan. Retail-ready packaging such as display trays and shelf-ready cases is available on request, with a minimum of 1,000 units per SKU.

Before mass production, we provide a digital label proof and a physical pre-production sample for your approval. Any change to label artwork, bottle type or cap after approval may add 5-7 working days to the lead time. We keep a labelled retention sample of each batch for 24 months, which helps if a retailer or marketplace asks for evidence of the label as shipped.

MOQ, Lead Times and Delivery

The sample timeline starts with a formulation brief and a target specification. We can supply a stock electrolyte base for tasting within 7-10 working days, or develop a custom formula in 10-15 working days. Sample costs are quoted per SKU and include courier delivery; the cost is credited against the first mass production order above 1,000 units. For pilot runs, the MOQ is 1,000 units per SKU, and for retail bottling it is 1,000 units per SKU. Stick packs have a lower MOQ of 5,000 units per SKU because of set-up waste on the filling line.

Mass production takes 20-35 working days after sample approval and receipt of the deposit. This window includes raw material procurement, filling, labelling, QC testing and packing. If your formula requires a new flavour or a custom bottle, add 10-15 working days for tooling and stability checks. We provide a production schedule at order confirmation and update it weekly. For repeat orders with the same specification, the lead time is typically 20-25 working days.

We ship under EXW, FOB Shenzhen or Hong Kong, and DDP for selected destinations. Air freight is used for samples and urgent orders up to 500kg, with a transit time of 5-8 days to the US or EU. Sea freight is standard for full containers: a 20ft container holds approximately 1,200 cartons of 12 bottles, and transit to the US West Coast is 18-25 days. We provide a commercial invoice, packing list, bill of lading, COA, MSDS, free-sale certificate and, where relevant, a phytosanitary certificate for botanical ingredients. We do not provide a certificate of origin unless requested, which adds 2-3 working days.

For DDP shipments, we handle customs clearance and duty payment, and deliver to your door. We recommend DDP for first orders to reduce customs risk, and FOB for repeat orders where you have a freight forwarder. All documents are sent electronically before shipment, and the original set is couriered with the goods or released against payment, as agreed in the sales contract.

Questions buyers ask.

What is the MOQ for electrolyte liquids?+

MOQ is 1,000 units per SKU for retail bottling. For pilot runs or new brands, we can go as low as 1,000 units per SKU. Stick packs and shots have the same MOQ. Bulk concentrates in 5L pouches start at 500 units.

Can you match a competitor's electrolyte formula?+

Yes. Send us a sample or the nutrition panel. We analyse sodium, potassium, magnesium, pH, Brix and sweetness. We return a matched sample in 7-10 working days. Typical match requires 3-5 iterations. We do not copy patented formulas.

What is the shelf life of your liquid electrolytes?+

Hot-filled and aseptic liquids typically have 18-24 months shelf life at ambient temperature. Stick packs and shots with preservatives can reach 24 months. We run accelerated stability testing at 40°C/75% RH for 3 months to confirm. Final shelf life is stated on the certificate of analysis.

Do you offer sugar-free and keto-friendly options?+

Yes. We use allulose, stevia, monk fruit and sucralose. Final sugar content can be below 0.5g per serving for zero-sugar claims. We also produce reduced-sugar versions with 2-5g cane sugar per serving. All sweetener systems are tested for aftertaste and mouthfeel.

What certifications do you hold for export?+

EUPHM holds GMP, ISO 22000, HACCP, halal and vegan certifications. We are FDA-registered for US export. For EU clients, we provide a statement of compliance with EC 178/2002 and health certificates. Organic certification is available on request for specific raw materials.

Can you provide a certificate of analysis for each batch?+

Yes. A COA is issued for every batch and includes the batch number, production and expiry dates, test methods, specification limits and results for identity, potency, microbials and heavy metals. We send a draft COA before shipment and the final signed COA with the shipping documents. Retained samples are kept for 24 months for any post-market verification.

What label artwork files do you need and who is responsible for compliance?+

We need a print-ready PDF or AI file at 300dpi with bleed and dieline. You are responsible for the accuracy of the label content and for meeting the regulations of your target market. We check that the supplement facts values match the approved formula and that mandatory elements such as net quantity and allergen statements are present, but we do not provide legal review.

How do you handle shipping damage and short-shipments?+

Each carton is packed to a defined drop-test standard, and we photograph the pallet before stretch-wrapping. If damage occurs in transit, we ask for photos and a tally sheet within 7 days of delivery. For short-shipments, we compare the packing list with the container load plan and, if the shortage is confirmed, we replace the units on the next order or issue a credit note.
