Overview

Sourcing a Vitamin E capsule manufacturer means matching dose, fill weight and capsule shell to your market. EUPHM runs softgel and HPMC lines in Guangdong, with in-house blending, encapsulation and blister or bottle packing. We hold GMP, ISO 22000 and HACCP certification, plus halal where required. Pilot runs start at 1,000 units; retail bottling MOQ is 1,000 units per SKU.

Softgel and Two-Piece Capsule Capacity

EUPHM operates 6 softgel encapsulation lines with a combined output of 1.2 million capsules per shift. For Vitamin E, the standard softgel fill ranges from 200 mg to 1,000 mg, using either natural d-alpha-tocopherol or synthetic dl-alpha-tocopheryl acetate. Shell options include gelatin, fish gelatin and HPMC for vegan and halal-sensitive markets. Two-piece HPMC capsules run on separate lines at up to 80,000 units per hour, suited to dry Vitamin E powder blends or beadlet formats.

Tooling changes take 4-6 hours per SKU. We hold more than 40 standard die sets for oblong, oval and round softgels, so most Vitamin E capsule projects avoid custom tooling costs. For new shapes, tooling lead time is 15-20 working days. Line capacity is scheduled in 5-day blocks, which keeps changeover waste low and supports repeat orders of 1,000 to 500,000 units without requalification.

Formulation Options for Vitamin E Capsules

Vitamin E is oil-soluble, so softgel is the default format. We blend d-alpha-tocopherol with carrier oils such as MCT, sunflower or olive oil to reach your target IU per capsule. Common strengths are 100 IU, 200 IU, 400 IU and 1,000 IU. For dry formats, we use Vitamin E succinate or acetate beadlets at 50% concentration, blended with microcrystalline cellulose and silicon dioxide for flow. Every batch is assayed by HPLC before encapsulation.

We can add selenium, mixed tocopherols or omega-3 oils in the same softgel where label claims allow. Antioxidant blends with Vitamin C or CoQ10 are also produced on the same lines. Flavour masking is available for chewable softgels. All incoming Vitamin E raw material is tested for identity, potency and heavy metals. Retain samples are held for 24 months. Formulation support includes stability testing at 25°C/60% RH and 40°C/75% RH.

Quality, Compliance and Export Documentation

EUPHM is an FDA-registered facility and holds GMP, ISO 22000 and HACCP certification. Halal certificates are available for gelatin and HPMC shells. Organic certification covers USDA and EU organic. For each Vitamin E capsule order we provide a certificate of analysis, batch production record, MSDS and allergen statement. Heavy metal and microbial testing is done in-house; third-party lab verification is available on request.

Export documentation includes commercial invoice, packing list, certificate of origin and health certificate. We ship FOB Shenzhen or Yantian, with air freight for pilot runs. Cartons are labelled to your artwork or neutral for private label. Shelf life is 24 months for softgels and 36 months for two-piece capsules when stored below 25°C. Lead time for mass production is 20-35 working days after artwork and deposit approval.

Quality Control and Batch Documentation

Every Vitamin E capsule batch is tested at three stages: incoming raw material, in-process fill weight checks, and finished product release. Identity and potency are confirmed by HPLC against the labelled tocopherol or tocopheryl acetate content, with acceptance at 95-105% of label claim. Microbial testing covers total aerobic count, yeast and mould, E. coli and Salmonella. Heavy metals (lead, arsenic, cadmium, mercury) are screened against USP <232> limits. Disintegration testing follows USP <2040> for softgels or <701> for two-piece capsules.

A Certificate of Analysis (COA) accompanies each batch and lists the product name, batch number, manufacturing date, expiry date, tests performed, specification limits, results and a pass/fail statement. It also names the responsible QC signatory. Retention samples of every batch are held for 24 months from the date of manufacture in controlled conditions at 25°C/60% RH. Stability protocols follow ICH Q1A(R2) with accelerated conditions at 40°C/75% RH for six months and long-term data at 25°C/60% RH for up to 24 months, depending on the market requirement.

For private-label brands, we can provide a batch-specific COA in your company name and a technical data sheet summarising the formulation, capsule shell composition and recommended storage. If your market requires it, we also supply a declaration that the product is free from allergens, GMOs and irradiation, signed by the quality manager. These documents are issued before shipment so your regulatory team can review them without delaying the order.

Packaging, Labelling and Retail Readiness

Vitamin E capsules can be packed in HDPE bottles with induction seals and child-resistant or standard caps, in blister packs using PVC/PVDC or alu-alu, in stick packs, or in single-serve sachets. Bottle sizes range from 30 to 500 count. Labelling follows the destination market: for the US, we print the FDA dietary-supplement label elements including the Supplement Facts panel, serving size, amount per serving, % Daily Value, other ingredients, and the mandatory disclaimer. For the EU, we apply the Nutrition and Health Claims Regulation and the Food Information to Consumers Regulation.

Each unit carries a lot number and expiry date applied by inkjet or laser coding. Cartons are printed with the same lot and expiry, plus gross and net weight, quantity and country of origin. Standard export cartons hold 12, 24 or 48 bottles, with pallet configurations of 1,200 x 1,000 mm or 1,200 x 800 mm, stretch-wrapped and corner-protected. We can print Amazon FNSKU labels and apply them to each unit, or supply units ready for FBA with polybagging and suffocation warning labels where required.

For retail chains, we can produce shelf-ready packaging with a display-ready case and GS1 barcodes. Artwork proofs are issued for your approval before printing, and we keep a signed master copy on file. If you supply your own packaging components, we can run a compatibility check on the bottle and closure before filling. Packaging lead time is typically 10-15 working days from artwork approval, and this runs in parallel with capsule production.

MOQ, Lead Times and Delivery

Sample orders start at 1,000 units and ship in 7-10 working days after formulation and packaging approval. Mass production runs 20-35 working days from receipt of deposit and approved artwork, depending on capsule type, fill weight and packaging format. Retail bottling MOQ is 1,000 units per SKU. For pilot runs below retail MOQ, we supply unbranded or generic-labelled units for stability and sensory testing before you commit to a full batch.

We ship by air or sea. Air freight from Guangdong to Europe or North America takes 5-8 days door to door for small parcels, while sea freight takes 25-35 days port to port. We quote EXW, FOB Shenzhen or Hong Kong, and DDP for selected destinations. DDP includes customs clearance and duties, which simplifies delivery for brands without an import entity. For sea shipments, we provide a packing list, commercial invoice, bill of lading and certificate of origin.

Each shipment includes a COA, a material safety data sheet (MSDS) where applicable, and a free-sale certificate for markets that require it. For plant-based capsules, we can add a phytosanitary certificate if the destination country asks for it. Documents are issued in PDF and, on request, in your company name. We recommend booking air freight for launch quantities and sea freight for replenishment above 500 kg to reduce landed cost.

Which Vitamin E forms can you encapsulate?+

We use natural d-alpha-tocopherol, synthetic dl-alpha-tocopheryl acetate, and Vitamin E succinate or acetate beadlets. Strengths range from 100 IU to 1,000 IU per capsule. Carrier oils include MCT, sunflower and olive oil.

Do you provide halal or vegan capsules?+

Yes. We offer halal certified gelatin shells, plus HPMC shells for vegan and vegetarian products. Organic certification covers USDA and EU organic. Certificates are provided per batch.

What documentation is included with each order?+
