Weight Management Capsule Manufacturer for Global Brands

Overview

Sourcing weight management capsules means matching actives with the right delivery format, then securing a plant that can repeat that formula at scale. EUPHM runs capsule filling, blending and packaging under one roof in Guangdong. We handle thermogenic, fibre-based, appetite-support and stimulant-free formulas in vegan HPMC or gelatin shells. Every batch ships with a certificate of analysis, allergen statement and full traceability from raw material lot to finished bottle.

Capsule Filling Capacity and Format Options

Our capsule suite runs two automatic filling lines with a combined output of 120,000 capsules per hour. That covers runs from 5,000-unit pilot batches to 2 million-unit orders without changing your specification. We fill powders, granules, pellets and liquid-filled capsules. For weight management, the most common formats are 500 mg and 800 mg HPMC capsules for fibre blends, and 300–600 mg gelatin capsules for thermogenic or green tea extract formulas. Size 0 and size 00 are standard; size 1 suits lower-dose actives.

Tooling changes take 2–4 hours. We hold dedicated change parts for size 0, 00 and 1, so scheduling a new SKU does not push back existing orders. If your formula needs a tablet instead, our compression line runs at 80,000 tablets per hour. The parent /capsule-manufacturer page covers capsule-only projects in more detail, including enteric and delayed-release options.

Formulating Weight Management Actives in Capsules

Weight management covers a wide actives list: green tea extract (EGCG 45–98%), Garcinia cambogia (HCA 50–60%), L-carnitine, CLA, glucomannan, chromium picolinate, green coffee bean, raspberry ketones, and fibre blends such as psyllium or beta-glucan. We work with your existing formula or help you adjust it for capsule compatibility. Hygroscopic ingredients like L-carnitine need a low-moisture environment; we run fill rooms at 45% RH or lower. Oily actives such as CLA or fish oil go into liquid-filled capsules with a sealed band.

Taste and odour are non-issues in capsules, so you can use bitter or strong-smelling extracts without masking agents. We test flowability and bulk density on every incoming lot. If a powder bridges or sticks, we add food-grade silicon dioxide or magnesium stearate at 0.5–2% to keep fill weight consistent. For stimulant-free positioning, we can replace caffeine with green tea extract or guarana at lower doses.

Quality, Compliance and Export Documentation

EUPHM operates a GMP-certified facility with ISO 22000 and HACCP systems. We are FDA-registered for dietary supplements. Every batch of weight management capsules is tested for identity, potency, heavy metals, microbial limits and disintegration. Certificates of analysis are issued per lot. For halal claims, we use certified gelatin and maintain separate production slots. Organic and options are available for fibre and botanical lines, subject to ingredient supply.

Export documentation covers US, EU, UK and Middle East requirements. We provide free sale certificates, health certificates, allergen statements, GMO-free declarations and origin certificates. For EU customers, we can supply documentation for novel food or health claim review. Middle East shipments include halal certificates from recognised bodies. Packaging runs on our blister and bottle lines: 30, 60, 90, 120 and 180 count bottles, plus 10x10 blister cards. Cartons and labels can be printed to your artwork.

Quality Control and Batch Documentation

Every weight management capsule batch is sampled at three points: incoming raw material, in-process blend, and finished capsules. Identity testing by FTIR or HPLC confirms each active, including green tea extract, caffeine, Garcinia cambogia, glucomannan and chromium. Potency assays verify label claim within 95–105% for actives with established methods. Microbial testing covers total aerobic count, yeast and mould, E. coli and Salmonella. Heavy metals (lead, arsenic, cadmium, mercury) are tested against USP <232> limits. Disintegration testing follows USP <701>, with enteric and DRcaps formats requiring acid-resistance verification.

The certificate of analysis (COA) issued with each batch lists lot number, manufacture and expiry dates, capsule fill weight, appearance, identification results, potency, microbial counts, heavy metals and disintegration time. Where relevant, it also reports moisture content and pesticide residues. A retention sample of at least twice the finished batch quantity is held for 24 months under controlled conditions. Stability testing follows a bracketed protocol at 25°C/60% RH and 40°C/75% RH, with pull points at 0, 3, 6, 12, 18 and 24 months. Accelerated data supports a 24-month shelf life, and real-time data is added as it accumulates.

Documentation is version-controlled and linked to the batch record. Any deviation, such as a potency result outside the 95–105% range, triggers a formal investigation before release. The quality team signs off each batch against a release checklist that includes line clearance records, capsule shell lot traceability and packaging reconciliation. This record set is what auditors and retail quality teams review, so it is compiled as standard rather than on request.

Packaging, Labelling and Retail Readiness

Weight management capsules ship in HDPE bottles (60, 90, 120 or 180 count) with induction seals and child-resistant or standard caps, in blister packs (PVC/PVDC or alu-alu), or in single-serve sachets for powder-filled capsule formats. Bottle dimensions and cap torque are recorded per SKU. Cartons are specified with board grade, print process and dimensions; pallet configuration is agreed per order, typically 48–60 cartons per pallet with stretch-wrap and corner boards. We can print lot number and expiry date by inkjet or laser on bottle, carton and shipper.

For US market entry, labels must carry the FDA dietary supplement statement of identity, net quantity, supplement facts panel with active ingredients and percent daily value where established, other ingredients list, directions, warnings, and the manufacturer/distributor name and address. We prepare artwork to these elements and can supply a label review checklist. For EU markets, the nutrition declaration, allergen statement and claims wording are checked against the applicable regulation before print. Amazon FNSKU labels, poly-bag suffocation warnings and carton weight limits are applied on request.

Retail-ready packaging also covers case pack configuration, barcode placement (UPC/EAN) and tamper evidence. We do not hold certifications not listed in the specifications, and label claims remain the brand owner's responsibility. Our role is to ensure the physical pack, coding and documentation match the approved artwork and that the finished goods can pass a retail receiving inspection.

MOQ, Lead Times and Delivery

Sample orders for weight management capsules are produced in 7–10 working days from approved formula and artwork, with a sample MOQ of 1,000 units per SKU. Mass production runs 20–35 working days after sample approval and receipt of deposit, depending on capsule shell availability and whether packaging is stock or custom-printed. Custom printed bottles and cartons add 10–15 working days to the schedule. MOQ is 1,000 units per SKU for standard shells, with lower thresholds for pilot runs.

Shipping is arranged by air or sea. Air freight from Guangdong to US or EU hubs typically takes 5–8 days door to door for smaller orders; sea freight takes 25–35 days port to port, with LCL options for orders under a full container. We quote EXW, FOB Shenzhen/Hong Kong or DDP to your warehouse. DDP pricing includes duties and import clearance, which simplifies first orders but limits the buyer's control over the customs entry.

Each shipment is accompanied by a COA, safety data sheet (MSDS) where required, free-sale certificate, and phytosanitary certificate for relevant botanical ingredients. Commercial invoice, packing list and bill of lading are issued for every order. Certificates of origin can be provided on request. Documents are sent electronically before dispatch so the buyer can review them before goods leave the factory.

Questions buyers ask.

What is the MOQ for weight management capsules?+

MOQ is 1,000 units per SKU for retail bottling. For pilot runs or new formula testing, we can go lower. MOQ depends on capsule type, fill weight and packaging format. Contact us with your specification for an exact figure.

Can you produce vegan weight management capsules?+

Yes. We fill vegan HPMC capsules in sizes 0, 00 and 1. We also hold vegan certification for the facility. Gelatin capsules are available if vegan status is not required. Both options run on the same lines.

How long does production take?+

Sample lead time is 7–10 working days. Mass production runs 20–35 working days after sample approval and purchase order. Timelines depend on raw material availability and packaging complexity. We confirm dates in writing before you commit.

Do you provide halal certificates?+

Yes. We use halal-certified gelatin and maintain separate production slots for halal runs. Certificates come from recognised certification bodies. We include them in the export document pack for Middle East markets.

What testing is done on each batch?+

Every batch is tested for identity, potency, heavy metals, microbial limits and disintegration. We issue a certificate of analysis per lot. Additional testing for allergens, GMOs or specific actives can be arranged at extra cost.

Can you match a formula from an existing product or a competitor's label?+

We can develop a formula based on the actives and dosages listed on a label, but we do not copy proprietary blends or infringe patents. The process starts with a review of the actives, target capsule size and any claims you intend to make. We then propose a formula, send a sample for sensory and stability review, and adjust before production. Full formula disclosure is provided under NDA.

What is the shelf life of weight management capsules and how is it supported?+

Standard shelf life is 24 months from manufacture when stored below 25°C and away from direct light. This is supported by accelerated stability data at 40°C/75% RH and ongoing real-time data at 25°C/60% RH. For hygroscopic actives or enteric shells, we may recommend a shorter initial shelf life until real-time data is complete. Expiry dating is printed on bottle, carton and shipper.

Do you offer low-MOQ pilot runs before full production?+

Yes. Pilot runs of 1,000 units per SKU are available to validate formula, packaging and label compliance before committing to a full batch. Pilot pricing is higher per unit because setup and testing costs are spread over a smaller quantity. The pilot batch uses the same equipment and quality tests as mass production, so results are representative of the full run.
