Turmeric Powder Manufacturer for Bulk Supplement Production

Turmeric powder is hygroscopic and prone to caking. Our plant uses low-humidity blending rooms at 35-40% RH and stainless-steel ribbon blenders sized for 50-500 kg batches. We screen incoming raw material through 60-80 mesh, then blend with excipients such as silicon dioxide or magnesium stearate only when required for capsule filling. For organic lines, we run dedicated equipment and maintain separate airflow to avoid cross-contact.

The facility operates two powder filling lines for capsules and three vertical form-fill-seal lines for stick packs and sachets. We can dose 400 mg capsules at 90,000 units per shift, or 5 g stick packs at 120,000 units per shift. Bulk powder tubs are filled by weight with ±1% accuracy. All lines include inline metal detection and checkweighing before packaging.

Not all turmeric powder is the same. We source three main grades: standard 95% curcuminoid extract, water-dispersed curcumin, and organic whole-root powder (5-6% curcuminoids naturally). For bioavailability-focused products, we can blend with piperine at 5-10 mg per serving, or use phytosome technology under licence. Each batch arrives with a certificate of analysis stating curcuminoid content by HPLC, heavy metals, and microbial limits.

Formulation support covers taste masking for stick packs, flow agents for high-speed encapsulation, and colour matching for bulk tubs. We can add black pepper extract, ginger, or boswellia for combination products. If you supply a reference sample, our lab will match appearance, particle size, and dispersibility within two rounds. Typical overage for curcuminoid stability is 5-10% above label claim.

Every lot of turmeric powder is tested for lead, arsenic, cadmium, and mercury against EU and US limits. We also run pesticide residue panels (EU MRLs) and salmonella, E. coli, and total plate count. The facility is FDA-registered and holds GMP, ISO 22000, and HACCP certifications. Halal certificates are available on request, as is handling certification for organic lines.

Documentation for each shipment includes certificate of analysis, certificate of origin, allergen statement, and MSDS. We support customs clearance for the US, EU, UK, and Middle East with health certificates and free sale certificates where required. Retain samples are kept for 24 months. If a deviation occurs, we issue a corrective action report within 5 working days and replace affected units at no cost.

We fill turmeric powder into HDPE bottles (100, 200, 300, 500 count capsules), glass jars (100-500 g), stick packs (3-10 g), and single-serve sachets. Blister packs are available for capsules in PVC/PVDC or alu-alu formats. Bottles can be supplied with induction seals, desiccant sachets, and child-resistant closures where required. For bulk orders, we pack into food-grade polyethylene-lined fibre drums (25 kg) or lined cartons (10-20 kg), with desiccant and a tamper-evident seal.

Labels are printed to your artwork and must include the FDA dietary-supplement label elements: statement of identity, net quantity of contents, supplement facts panel, ingredient list, allergen statement, and the name and place of business of the manufacturer or distributor. We also print lot number and expiry date in a legible format, typically inkjet or laser coding on the bottle base or label edge. For Amazon FNSKU labelling, we apply the FNSKU barcode over the original barcode or on the carton as specified in your shipping plan.

Cartons are specified to your retail requirements: typical dimensions are 300 x 200 x 150 mm for 12-24 bottles, with a maximum gross weight of 15 kg. Pallets are standard 1200 x 800 mm or 1200 x 1000 mm, stretch-wrapped and strapped, with a maximum height of 1.8 m for sea freight or 1.6 m for air freight. We can print carton markings for Amazon FBA (box content labels, expiration dates in MM/DD/YYYY format) and for retail DCs that require GS1-128 labels.

For retail-ready packaging, we offer display-ready cartons and shrink-wrapped trays. Artwork proofing includes a digital proof and, on request, a physical pre-production sample for colour and text verification. We do not provide legal review of label claims; that responsibility remains with the brand owner, but we can flag missing mandatory elements during the pre-press check.

Sample lead time is 7-10 working days for standard turmeric powder or extract, including COA and specification sheet. Custom blends or organic certified material may take 12-15 working days. Mass production runs 20-35 working days after sample approval and receipt of deposit, depending on packaging complexity and whether labels are supplied by you or printed by us. pilot volumes are discussed case by case for market testing, with the same lead time as a standard order.

We ship via air freight (5-10 days door-to-door) for urgent or small orders, and sea freight (25-40 days port-to-port) for larger volumes. Incoterms offered are EXW, FOB (Shenzhen or Hong Kong), and DDP for select destinations. DDP pricing includes freight, insurance, and customs clearance, but does not include any import duties or taxes that may apply in your country. We provide a commercial invoice, packing list, bill of lading or airway bill, COA, MSDS, and a free-sale certificate on request.

For turmeric powder, a phytosanitary certificate is not normally required for processed powder, but we can arrange one if your customs authority requests it. We also provide a certificate of origin for preferential tariff treatment where applicable. Shipping documents are issued within 3 working days of shipment, and we can send them by email or upload to your logistics portal.

For repeat orders, we hold your approved artwork and specifications on file, so reorders can be processed without re-proofing. Lead times for repeat orders are typically 15-25 working days. If you need to split shipments across multiple destinations, we can arrange consolidated shipping and provide separate documentation for each consignee.
