Bulk Powder Manufacturer for Supplement Brands

Bulk Powder Manufacturer for Supplement Brands

EUPHM is a GMP-certified bulk powder manufacturer in Guangdong, China. We blend, fill and pack powders for brands in the US, EU, UK and Middle East. MOQ from 1,000 units.

Overview

Sourcing bulk powder is not just about price per kilo. Particle size, flowability, moisture content and flavour stability all affect how your product performs on the shelf and in the scoop. EUPHM runs powder blending and filling lines for protein, collagen, greens, pre-workout and custom blends. We handle 1,000 unit MOQs, with pilot runs available for market testing.

Powder Blending and Filling Capability

Our plant runs V-blenders and ribbon mixers from 50 kg to 2,000 kg per batch. That range lets us produce a 500 kg pilot batch and a 5,000 kg production run on the same line without reformulating. We fill into pouches, HDPE jars, PET tubs and stick packs. Fill weights run from 5 g sachets to 5 kg bulk bags. Line speed reaches 60 units per minute for standard tubs, which keeps 20–35 day lead times realistic even in peak season.

We handle both hot-fill and cold-fill powders. For products with heat-sensitive actives, we use a chilled blending room at 18–22°C and relative humidity below 45%. That matters for probiotics, enzymes and certain vitamin blends. Changeover between SKUs follows a documented clean-down protocol, and we keep dedicated scoops, funnels and contact parts for allergen-free runs where required.

Formulation Support for Powder Products

Powder formulations fail for predictable reasons: clumping, segregation, poor mouthfeel or a flavour that fades before the expiry date. Our formulation team works with you on particle size distribution, anti-caking agents (silicon dioxide, tricalcium phosphate), flow agents and sweetener systems. We can match a competitor's mouthfeel or build a new profile from scratch. Typical projects use sucralose, stevia, monk fruit or allulose, with natural and artificial flavour options.

We also handle actives that are tricky in powder form. Collagen peptides, creatine monohydrate, branched-chain amino acids, greens blends, mushroom extracts and electrolyte systems all behave differently. We test for homogeneity after blending and re-test at 0, 3, 6 and 12 months on accelerated stability. If a formula needs a carrier or a granulation step to stop segregation, we will say so before you commit to a 5,000 unit run.

Quality, Compliance and Export Logistics

Every batch is produced in a GMP-certified facility with ISO 22000 and HACCP systems in place. We hold halal and vegan certifications where the ingredient list allows. Third-party lab testing covers heavy metals, microbial limits, potency and allergen screening. We provide a certificate of analysis per batch and retain samples for 24 months. Our facility is FDA-registered, which supports US-bound shipments but is not an FDA approval of your finished product.

For export, we ship FOB Shenzhen or Yantian, with CIF and DDP options for US, EU, UK and Middle East destinations. Standard packaging for bulk powder includes 25 kg fibre drums with food-grade liners, or 10 kg and 20 kg cartons. We prepare commercial invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin and health certificates. Air freight samples typically arrive in 3–5 days; sea freight for full production runs takes 18–35 days depending on port.

Quality Control and Batch Documentation

Every bulk powder batch is sampled at three points: incoming raw material, in-process blend, and finished bulk. Identity testing by FTIR confirms each active, while potency is verified by HPLC or titration depending on the ingredient. Microbials (total plate count, yeast and mould, E. coli, Salmonella) are tested against USP <2021> or EU Pharmacopoeia limits. Heavy metals (lead, arsenic, cadmium, mercury) are screened by ICP-MS. Moisture content and water activity are measured to protect flowability and shelf life. Disintegration testing applies only to tablet or capsule formats, not powders, so it is omitted unless your specification requires it.

Certificates of Analysis (COAs) are issued per batch and include the product name, batch number, manufacturing date, expiry date, tests performed, specifications, results, and the analyst's signature. We retain samples from every batch for 24 months at controlled temperature and humidity. Stability protocols follow ICH Q1A(R2) guidelines: accelerated conditions at 40°C/75% RH for six months, with real-time data at 25°C/60% RH for up to 24 months. These data support your shelf-life claims and are available on request.

Documentation is compiled before shipment: COA, material safety data sheet (MSDS), and a free-sale certificate issued by the local authority. For organic or halal claims, we provide the relevant certificates from our ingredient suppliers and our own facility. If you require a phytosanitary certificate for plant-based powders, we arrange it through the export inspection body. All records are kept for five years and can be audited remotely or on-site.

Packaging, Labelling and Retail Readiness

Bulk powder can be filled into pouches (stand-up or flat), jars, tubs, stick packs, or sachets. Common fill weights range from 5 g to 5 kg. For stick packs, we run vertical form-fill-seal lines with fill accuracy of ±2%. Jars and tubs are induction-sealed and can include a scoop. We also offer nitrogen flushing for oxygen-sensitive blends. Packaging materials are food-grade and comply with EU 10/2011 and FDA 21 CFR 177.1520 for polyolefins.

For the US market, we print labels that meet FDA dietary supplement labelling requirements: statement of identity, net quantity, supplement facts panel, ingredient list, allergen declaration, and manufacturer/distributor information. Lot and expiry coding are applied by inkjet or laser, with formats such as YYYYMMDD or best-by date. Cartons are specified with dimensions, gross weight, and pallet configuration (e.g., 48 cartons per pallet, shrink-wrapped). We can apply Amazon FNSKU labels and poly-bag each unit for FBA compliance.

Retail-ready packaging includes tamper-evident seals, child-resistant closures where required, and barcodes (UPC or EAN). We can also print batch-specific QR codes linking to your COA. For EU retail, we ensure the label includes the food business operator address and a nutrition declaration. All packaging components are checked against your artwork before production, and we provide a pre-production sample for sign-off.

MOQ, Lead Times and Delivery

Sampling takes 7–10 working days after formula and packaging specifications are confirmed. Sample costs are credited against the first production order. Mass production runs 20–35 working days after sample approval, depending on ingredient sourcing and packaging complexity. For repeat orders with existing specifications, lead time can shorten to 15–20 working days. We hold safety stock of common raw materials to buffer supply fluctuations.

We ship via air freight (5–10 days door-to-door) for urgent or low-volume orders, and sea freight (25–40 days port-to-port) for larger volumes. Incoterms offered are EXW, FOB (Shenzhen or Hong Kong), and DDP for select destinations. DDP includes customs clearance and duties, but we recommend FOB for first shipments so you control the freight forwarder. We provide a packing list, commercial invoice, and bill of lading.

Export documents include COA, MSDS, free-sale certificate, and phytosanitary certificate where applicable. For halal claims, we supply the relevant certificates. We also assist with registration dossiers for markets requiring product notification, such as ASEAN countries. Shipping schedules are confirmed at order placement, and we provide tracking information once the goods are dispatched.
