Single-Serve Powder Manufacturer for Stick Packs and Sachets
EUPHM produces single-serve powder formats in Guangdong, China. Fill weights from 2 g to 30 g per stick or sachet. MOQ 1,000 units per SKU. Sample lead time 7–10 working days.
Overview
Brands choose single-serve powder for pre-workout, hydration, collagen, greens, protein and children's nutrition. The format controls dose, reduces waste and supports travel-friendly retail. As a single-serve powder manufacturer, EUPHM handles blending, fill, seal and secondary packaging in one GMP-certified plant. We work with US, EU, UK and Middle East brands on pilot runs through to 20–35 day mass production. Certifications include GMP, ISO 22000, HACCP, plus halal and vegan options where the formula allows.

Single-Serve Capability and Line Capacity
EUPHM runs vertical form-fill-seal lines for stick packs and sachets, plus auger filling for wider single-serve pouches. Fill weights from 2 g to 30 g are achievable with ±2–3% accuracy on most powder blends. We handle free-flowing, cohesive and hygroscopic powders by adjusting auger speed, agitation and sealing temperature. Changeover between SKUs is typically 4–6 hours, which keeps small retail batches practical.
Secondary packaging includes cartons, display boxes and shrink-wrap. We can print lot codes, expiry dates and batch numbers inline. For brands scaling from pilot to retail, the same line runs 5,000-unit pilot batches and 100,000-unit production runs without reformulation. That continuity reduces the risk of fill weight drift between sample and mass production.
Formulation and Ingredient Handling
Single-serve powders often carry high active loads: 5 g creatine, 10 g collagen, 3 g beta-alanine or 1 g vitamin C per stick. We blend in ribbon and paddle mixers with 200–1,000 kg batch sizes, then verify uniformity by sampling at three points. Flavour systems can be spray-dried, granulated or instantised. Sweetener options include sucralose, stevia, monk fruit and allulose, depending on target market and label claims.
For sensitive ingredients, we use low-humidity blending rooms and nitrogen flushing where needed. Vitamin C, probiotics and certain plant extracts are dosed after primary blending to limit degradation. If your formula includes oil-based actives, we can absorb them onto a carrier such as maltodextrin or silicon dioxide before filling. This keeps the powder free-flowing and reduces stick pack clogging on the line.
Quality, Compliance and Export Logistics
EUPHM operates a GMP-certified facility with ISO 22000 and HACCP systems. We hold halal certifications, and can source or EU organic ingredients when the formula supports the claim. Every batch is tested for micro, heavy metals and fill weight. COAs and spec sheets are issued before shipment. We are an FDA-registered facility, which supports US import requirements.
For export, we ship FOB Shenzhen or Yantian, with air freight for pilot runs and sea freight for full containers. Documents include commercial invoice, packing list, COA, certificate of origin and, where required, halal certificates. Lead time from purchase order to port is 20–35 working days after sample approval. We can hold safety stock for repeat orders if your forecast is stable.
Quality Control and Batch Documentation
Every single-serve powder batch is tested at three points: incoming raw materials, in-process blend, and finished stick packs. Identity and potency are confirmed by HPLC or UV-Vis against a reference standard for each active. Microbial testing covers total aerobic count, yeast and mould, E. coli, Salmonella and Staphylococcus aureus. Heavy metals (lead, arsenic, cadmium, mercury) are screened by ICP-MS. For stick packs, we also verify fill weight uniformity at ±3% and seal integrity by dye penetration and burst testing.
A certificate of analysis (COA) is issued per batch and includes the product name, lot number, manufacture and expiry dates, tests performed, specification limits, results and the analyst's signature. We retain samples from every batch for 24 months at 20–25°C and 60% relative humidity. Stability protocols follow ICH Q1A(R2) guidelines with accelerated conditions at 40°C/75% RH for six months and real-time data at 25°C/60% RH for up to 24 months, depending on the formula.
Disintegration testing is performed on stick packs that contain compressed or granulated components to confirm the powder disperses within the claimed time. For hygroscopic formulas, we monitor moisture content and water activity at filling and after two weeks of storage. All testing is recorded in a batch manufacturing record (BMR) that links raw material lots to the finished lot. This documentation is available for customer review during audits or upon request before shipment.
Retention samples are stored in the same packaging format as the commercial product and are available for re-testing if a customer complaint arises. We do not release a batch until the QC review is signed off by a qualified person. For export orders, the COA and BMR summary are provided as part of the shipping documents, and we can include additional testing such as allergen screening or gluten-free verification if the formula requires it.
Packaging, Labelling and Retail Readiness
Single-serve powder formats include stick packs (3-side seal or sachet), flat sachets, and stick packs with tear notches or straws. We fill stick packs from 2 g to 30 g, with standard film structures such as PET/AL/PE or PET/PE for moisture barrier. Secondary packaging options include cartons of 10, 20 or 30 sticks, display-ready cases, and shrink-wrapped trays. For sample or travel sizes, we can produce 5 g sticks in printed or unprinted film with a label applied offline.
For US dietary supplement labels, we include the supplement facts panel with serving size, amount per serving, % daily value where applicable, and a list of other ingredients. Allergen declarations follow FALCPA requirements. Lot and expiry coding is applied by inkjet or thermal transfer on the stick and the carton, with formats such as YYMMDD and lot prefix. We can also add QR codes or barcodes (UPC/EAN) as required by the retailer.
Carton specifications are tailored to the retail channel: standard folding cartons with tuck-end or crash-lock bottoms, printed in up to 6 colours with matt or gloss varnish. Pallet configurations are designed for stability and container fill: typical cartons per shipper, shippers per layer, and layers per pallet are agreed at order confirmation. We provide a packaging specification sheet with dimensions, weights, and pallet pattern for your logistics team.
For Amazon FNSKU and retail compliance, we apply the FNSKU label to each unit and can poly-bag or overbox as required. We also support GS1 barcode verification and can provide a certificate of compliance for packaging materials that contact food. If you sell in the EU, we can include the appropriate food contact declaration and, where needed, the UKCA or CE marking is not applicable to supplements, but we ensure labels meet EU Regulation 1169/2011 for food information.
MOQ, Lead Times and Delivery
The sampling process starts with a formulation brief and target dosage form. We provide a quotation within 2 working days and, upon acceptance, produce a sample batch of 1–2 kg for evaluation. Sample lead time is 7–10 working days, including raw material sourcing and initial QC. You will receive a sample with a preliminary COA and a packaging mock-up if required. Revisions to flavour, colour or sweetener can be made within 3 working days per round, with up to two rounds included.
Mass production begins after written sample approval and a 30% deposit. The production window is 20–35 working days, depending on fill weight, film availability and whether the order requires custom printed packaging. For orders above 100,000 units, we schedule production in two or three runs to maintain consistent quality. We provide a production schedule at order confirmation and weekly updates during the run.
Shipping terms are available as EXW, FOB Shenzhen or Hong Kong, or DDP to your door. Air freight is typically 5–8 days door-to-door and suitable for pilot runs or urgent replenishment; sea freight takes 25–35 days to US or EU ports and is more economical for full containers. We prepare a commercial invoice, packing list, bill of lading, COA, MSDS, and a free-sale certificate where required. Phytosanitary certificates are provided for plant-derived ingredients when the destination country requires them.
For DDP shipments, we handle customs clearance and final delivery, with duties and taxes included in the quoted price. We recommend air freight for orders under 500 kg and sea freight for larger volumes. All shipments are palletised and shrink-wrapped, with desiccant added for humid destinations. We can also arrange delivery to a third-party warehouse or Amazon fulfilment centre, providing the necessary appointment scheduling and labelling.

Questions buyers ask.
What is the MOQ for single-serve powder sticks?+
MOQ is 1,000 units per SKU for retail-ready stick packs or sachets. For pilot runs, we can go lower depending on fill weight and film availability. A 1,000-unit run at 5 g per stick is a common starting point for new brands.
Can you match my existing stick pack dimensions?+
Yes. Send a physical sample or the film roll width and stick dimensions. We match fill weight, stick length, seal width and tear notch. If you do not have a sample, we can propose a standard 30–50 mm stick width based on your dose.
How long does sampling take for a custom formula?+
Sample lead time is 7–10 working days after we receive your formula and packaging brief. This covers raw material sourcing, blending, filling and dispatch. If your formula includes a novel ingredient, add 3–5 working days for documentation review.
Do you offer halal or organic single-serve powders?+
Yes, where the formula and ingredients allow. We hold halal certifications and can source or EU organic raw materials. Certificates are issued per batch. Not every ingredient is available in organic grade, so we confirm at brief stage.
What is the production lead time after sample approval?+
Mass production runs 20–35 working days after sample approval and deposit. This includes raw material ordering, blending, filling, sealing, QC and packing. Air freight adds 3–7 days; sea freight to US or EU ports typically 18–30 days.
What is the shelf life of your single-serve powder sticks?+
Shelf life depends on the formula and packaging. For standard stick packs with aluminium barrier film, we assign 18 to 24 months from the date of manufacture. Formulas containing probiotics or sensitive actives may have a shorter shelf life, typically 12 to 18 months. We confirm shelf life through accelerated and real-time stability testing and state it on the COA and label.
Can you produce single-serve powders with probiotics or live cultures?+
Yes, we can fill probiotic powders in stick packs, but we require a minimum order of 5,000 units and a stability study to confirm viability. We use cold-chain compatible films and recommend nitrogen flushing to reduce oxygen. Viable counts are tested at filling and at the end of shelf life. Please note that we do not manufacture the probiotic strains; we source from approved suppliers with documented identity and potency.
Do you provide artwork and label design services?+
We do not provide graphic design services, but we can supply dielines and packaging templates for your designer. Our team reviews your artwork for technical compliance, including barcode placement, lot code area, and regulatory statements. We can also recommend a list of third-party designers familiar with supplement labelling in your market. Artwork approval is required before printing, and we keep a signed proof on file.
